It's been an interesting past two days for sure. The RWCJ has gone from war whoops of "we've won!" and taking victory laps to the sudden realization that there is now a younger viable candidate running against their mentally impaired lard puppet.

Zero apologies from the crowd who insisted it was either wrong, or just impossible, for Biden to pull the plug so far though.

Yeah, that'd be me. I truly thought President Joe Biden would stay the course and complete his second consecutive beatdown of convicted felon Donald J Trump.

I was gobsmacked when I heard President Joe Biden's announcement. Then I saw one of the major influencers on TikTok have a complete and utter meltdown on hearing the news and I thought, geez histrionics is not a good look.

I realized then that this election has suddenly morphed into a game of "Cops and Rapers", and life was good again. Made it through all five stages of Kubler-Ross in less than a day.

Manchin reconsidering his rash departure from the Democratic party was the icing on the cake.
 
As an example of brillance, Biden made his announcement AFTER the RNC and all their endless one note speaches of Biden BAD and He should drop out iof the race. Now they are yelling ."That's not fair!" and "Coup" coming from the crowd that stormed the Capitol? The cognitive dissonace is deafening!

When I liked in Delaware, Joe Biden was my senator. I've met him and spoken to him several time. Even back then he seemed distracted when you were speaking to him even though he was usually the sharpest guy in the room. His personality doesn't translate well on a national stage. Even so he always was a brilliant politician who planned every step he took carefully and with deliberation. He's not a flashy talker, he doesn't command the room BUT he gets shit done and always has. He is as unlike Donald Trump as it is possible to be.
