She appears from time to time. The real woman who was the inspiration, died decades ago after one final drug taking. She's still remembered locally and sometimes people leave ciggies on her grave (which are stolen by her successors).

Sometime back had cataract surgery, then the follow-up YAG procedure couple of years after. But my vision was still not right. Finally insisted on a thorough eye exam at a different provider. Turned out I had the wrong lens prescription for several years. I was amazed at big difference the new prescription made; I see so much better now. Lesson is: don't put up with bad health items without getting a second opinion .

I managed to make it thru financially through a tough year as a single parent. Started a small business, daughter in private school, braces, therapy for her, and survived being off work for a couple months after being fucking run over by a car in Sept.
