Yes, it does cut to the chase!sweetsubsarahh said:dr_mabeuse said:Just pretend she was talking about Hillary Clinton and I'm sure you'll all feel much better.![]()
Zoot, you always have the best one-liners.
Ah..a tax lawyer. Without the IRS you would be out of a job! I see the reasoning behind any statement you would make then.Oblimo said:I read the FAQ and I've seen it all before when I got my graduate degree in tax policy.
I can point you to some kickass arguments against the IRS and replacement taxation schemes that make poponents of income-tax structures go, "You know, you've got a point," rather than laugh, if you like.
EDIT: For example, there's this cute one that proposes eliminating the IRS, the current IRC, and imposing a graduated % tax on all electronic bank transfers.
Statements like this one?Zeb_Carter said:Ah..a tax lawyer. Without the IRS you would be out of a job! I see the reasoning behind any statement you would make then.
Doesn't sound like a pro-IRS guy to me.oblimo said:I can point you to some kickass arguments against the IRS and replacement taxation schemes that make poponents of income-tax structures go, "You know, you've got a point," rather than laugh, if you like.

(he still hasn't explained exactly how the indigenous population needs to be trained)
Maybe she actually meant GW Bush senior, come to think of it!Wildcard Ky said:Which actions of Bush would those be?
From the article:
"We went to a hospital where there were 200 children; they were beautiful, all of them, but they had cancers that the doctors couldn't even recognise. From the first Gulf War, the mothers' wombs were infected.
Bush Jr was president during the first Gulf war?
They needed five different kinds of medication to treat the cancers that the children had, and the embargoes laid on by the United States and the United Nations only allowed them three."
Once again, embargoes were laid on immediately after the first gulf war, circa 1991-1992. Tell me what Bush jr had to do with that?
I don't care if she doesn't like Bush. There's a lot of people that don't like him, and there's a lot of things about him I don't like. However, it's inexcuseable to stand in front of a group of kids and tell them that you'd love to kill someone, regardless of who you are, or who they are.
Zoot made a post saying substitute Hillary for Bush. I'd still feel the exact same way if that were true.
