Things to do to cheer us up

Hmm. I pet cats, eat chocolate, watch movies with lots of explosions where the world is saved from certain doom in the end, read books, write really angsty poetry, clean something that really needs it, take a shower, listen to music, rub all over my husband (I'll loan him to you), walk around a bookstore, tell someone I don't know very well something nice, give someone a compliment, or take a nap.

Seriously, I read a good book. Watch a movie that I know will make me feel better. Make a phone call to someone who loves me. I take a walk in nature. I enter my own head and relax there until the outside world is a bit easier to bear.

climbing (i only started and find it very exciting)

looking at maps and planning all the travels i want to do

my plants (again something i just started and which excites me a lot! you should try it! i could sit hours in front of my tomatoes and watch them grow! i am so proud they are still alive!)

learning a new language (it's great fun when you start to understand internet pages in that language, makes you very proud of yourself)
