Hey, why not.
Vent.

Okay, so stupid NBC buys the Versus channel, which used to be the home channel of PBR. I could depend on seeing every event, both nights in their entirety, broadcast at consistent times each weekend.
But when these idiots bought the channel, they consider only three things as sports: basketball, football, and baseball. Everything else gets pre-empted or bumped completely.
So PBR executives try to make a deal with CBS Sports network and CBS broadcast network, but these assholes have the same attitude and put the PBR programming in whatever left over time slots they dig up, only cover about half the events, and then only want to show the highlights, not the whole event.
The fans are pissed and let PBR know about it. So they go back to NBC and cut an additional deal with them to air some of the broadcast that CBS won't, both on NBC Sports Network, (formerly Versus) and also NBC broadcast network.
The deal still sucks, and fans let the PBR know about it. So PBR agrees to stream events on their YouTube Channel or live over the internet through their website. The quality sucks, but we have to take what we can get, right?
Bringing us up to last night. I'm watching the event in Sacramento, Cal. over live streaming. At the beginning of the event they promise we will see both rounds of competition in it's entirety. First round, no problem. Then they get to the bonus round (What would be the finals for the event in any other sport). The feed goes blank, blacked out in favor of a static advertisement for the bonus round to be aired on NBC today at 1:30 pm ET.
I'm pissed at that point because I was promised to see the whole damn thing! But I mollify myself with the idea that I'll get to see it today. Guess what? NBC is airing basketball. No sign of PBR at all, not pre-empted, not airing at a different time slot, not on their Sports Network, NOTHING!!!!
Guess what PBR fans, you're fucked again!!
Sons of bitches!
