I lost my innocence,my virginity, my way of looking at the world, lots of money, and various materialistic items, but it was worth losing all the physical things to get away from him. He was physically, mentally and emotionally abusive. Of all the things he cost me I think the thing that hurt the most was he made me always look at ppl wondering what they were trying to take from me or do to me and when found someone who paid me a compliment or wanted to be with me, I didn't believe them. But that was a lifetime ago and I now have a wonderful child, not his, and have found a truly wonderful man. If he had not made me doubt men so much all of this might have been different 20 years ago and I would not have my son or my man! So for all the bad, there is a silver lining for me.
