Things I learned in the past year

What I've learned...

That no matter what I do, I'm still going to be a good teacher (as a profession)

I can own up for my mistakes and learn from them

It may take me longer to finish my college degree, but it will be there when I finally get there.

wow, in the past year...

I've learned.

1. That my enthusiasm for others makes other people interested in them.

2. The thickest friendships sometimes end for love.

3. When I'm at my angriest, saddest, most horrible lost in misery moment I can still be a supermom, and my child's laughter makes me smile.

4. It's okay for me to walk away from someone who brings craziness to my life.

5. To enjoy driving a lot.

6. The theme songs to Spongebob, Dora and Veggie Tales.

7. Creativity is worship.

8. I need motivation, and easily find it within myself if I look in the right places.

9. I need solitude, weekly.

10. Ducks mate forever, just not always with each other.

1. That being a parent doesn't mean they're adults.

2. That taking risks is sometimes worth it.

3. That you find love in the strangest places.

4. That you have to stay grounded in reality when you most don't want to.

5. That there is nothing wrong with a little twelve-year-old-boy humor from time to time.

1. Change can be terrible and wonderful at the same time, or it can just suck ass. Change is tricky like that.

2. Having a place to feel comfortable and safe is important.

3. No matter how many times I've been sure I couldn't deal with anything more, I always have found a way to keep on keepin' on.

4. Love hurts, and that hurt is as strong as the joy.

5. There's a time and a place for everything. Usually anywhere but when and where you are.

That I must trust my instincts more...

That life is as complicated and as simple as I make it

That as much as I regret never giving my parents grandchildren I did do a good thing by getting them a grand pet to love..
