Trump supporters are denying his victims the reality of their suffering. And that is unacceptable, and what they'll be ostracized heavily for going forward.

It's like backing a known rapist instead of who they raped - and it's a testament to his evil, and his follower's delusions, that the analogy has roots in reality in regards to him.

People who would deny victims the reality of their suffering cannot be trusted in general, and this is what we'll have to deal with in terms of how we respond regarding them collectively. Such individuals must first demonstrate that a: they accept that reality and b: they accept that there are victims who are due the reality of that suffering. Until that happens = no catharsis.

If you want to know who his victims are, it's anyone from people affected by him personally, to families of COVID casualties, to each woman who was marginalized, each minority individual who was slurred, each LGBTQ person who lost standing as a human being, and even those trying to maintain decorum in normal human interactions - because he made it not only okay, but celebrated, for his cultists to be the worst version of themselves.

All of this is already in motion. Deplorables know this is their future; the tell-tale sign is some of them have already started screaming that they are victims too. "We were fooled!" You hear it on the street, and you see it in courtroom transcriptions. Get ready for a bumpy ride.

What they have contributed to the rise in authoritarianism and decline in basic civility / humanity - not to mention their contributions to environmental destruction - have made them global pariahs… forever.

Given Trump is doing this to enrich himself and his family, I will be surprised if any of his sons (or daughters) not make a play for this.
