There's the new nudity policy, and then there's the implementation of it.

EDIT: EDIT: It turns out that the report of the three deleted threads was posted in "Feedback on New Policy Announcement" in error. The threads did not contain posts violating the nudity policy. They were deleted for other reasons. So the issue has gone away.

This was reported in the Feedback on New Policy Announcement in Lit Tech Support. It refers to a conversation in Fetish & Sexuality Central.

@faJ0 is the moderator of that forum, so my question to them is why did you delete whole threads?

And my question to everyone is this: Is there anything we do to keep the enforcement of the new nudity policy limited to that policy?
Sadly it looks like the whole Mature dressed and sexy women thread is now gone.
Given the name of the thread(s), it seems like the pictures weren't all nudes. If I'm right, does that mean that pictures that obey the new rules are getting deleted just because they share a thread with pictures that don't?

As has been answered to you at least twice, once by me, once by @ToPleaseHim, the mods don't do that.

That's an action taken by the site owners.

So hate JaF0 you may, but not for this.

Limited to what policy?

The details of the new policy have not been given yet.

If you mean can we stop it? Then no. The owners may change their policy at some point in the future, but keeping it as we are now is not going to happen.

And a large reason is that some people can't obey the rules as they are, so they are making it much easier to understand.

You, for instance, still don't understand that posting the nude pic of someone else BROKE THE RULES 🤦🏼‍♂️

Moderators can delete entire threads, yes. And when we do, we (moderators) can all still see them. Those links don’t work for me which means the thread is fully removed from the site. It was deleted by the site admins, not moderators. You can continue making threads calling out JaF0, but that will not change what took place.

Mods can and do delete threads. For us to have the authority to do so, it must be a forum to which we are assigned (named at the top of the forum). A moderator did not remove this thread.

Also, I recognize the irony as I am replying, but it’s probably best for folks to stop giving this person attention. They are either solely attention seeking or stuck in a loop that doesn’t make much sense.

@Laurel or @Manu, can we expect whole threads to be deleted in the future because some posts break the rule?

My bad, apologies

To clarify: Can we count on only nudes being removed, not whole threads that contain some nudes? @ToPleaseHim says that whole threads will be removed if there are "multiple" nudes. But they pointed out that it is Laurel and Manu that did the deletion, so how do they know? If it's written down somewhere, bould they point it out?

It seems like a consequential question, as some people might want to ensure that they have copies of non-rule-breaking posts in such threads.

No worries. I replied again 😂🤣

I’ll hold off now and let them wait forever to hear from the admins who are really unlikely to weigh in on the captain obvious question of whether or not threads that have multiple issues following rules will be removed.
I'm seeing someone doing their best to get their own threads deleted 😂😂

The issue has gone away. Please see edit to OP.

That’s a funny edit.

“I grossly overreacted and have started numerous threads to complain about a topic I misunderstood” would be a lot more accurate than “That other person posted their complaint in a thread where I personally don’t think it belongs. It is their fault that I overreacted in this way.”

🤦‍♀️

Good job she didn't try to rally an uproar about it
I've tried to rally an uproar
Ohhhhhhh 🤦🏼‍♂️

But has it? My interpretation of this issue is that the thread 'Mature Dressed and Sexy women' had some images that violated the "new rule" but now that thread (and apparently the questionable images in it) are ok. Does that mean that all nude images are ok regardless of the thread they're in? Because if it does that means that the "new rule" has been rescinded. I'm so confused. :-(

Your interpretation is, I'm afraid, horseshit

There is no new rule

The thread has been deleted

The new rule has, effectively, been rescinded in the sense that it never existed in the first place...

Well, my interpretation was based on what I could gather from reading here so IMO the part about it being 'horseshit" is a bit harsh.
But thanks for the clarification.

Mate, 2 posts above yours a moderator has called the OP out for being disingenuous...

You might want to check out the pic posting rules if you're new here. They'll help

No new rule has been put in place. Manu made an announcement of new policies that are coming, but nothing has actually changed yet. It read like he was giving people notice so they can remove images, and maybe save any if they don’t have them saved elsewhere. No news on when the image rules will actually change.

Your understanding is related to the issue. Initially, @Cfnmlover84 posted this thread, reporting that three threads had been removed. The implication was that they were removed for violating the new nudity policy, because the post was made in Lit Tech Support/Feedback on New Policy Announcement.

It looked to me like posts were being removed for sharing threads with violating posts. I thought that shouldn't happen.

Later, cfnmlover84 posted this:
First of all there were no illegal posts on the mature sexy dressed women thread. I think the thread was deleted by the admins because i pointed out vile transphobic posts that one of the mods posted and they were trying to cover it up.
That being the case, as for as I (the OP of the two threads under discussion) am concerned, the issue (deleting posts because they share threads with violaters) has gone away.
