There's nothing we can't face....

... except for bunnies.

We have bunnies in our backyard living under our deck. A mommy and a daddy bunny to be exact. (Guess how we know...)

I had no idea baby bunnies were so little.

Little and they are totally dependent on the mother for over a month. They don't usually get weened till they are about 6 weeks old.

These little guys are out and about on their own. God they're even smaller than I thought.

side note - what do wild bunnies eat? My girls want to feed them, but I don't want to give them anything that may harm them.

Baby rabbits can only digest milk for the first 4-6 weeks. They can't be seperated from the mother before then unless they are bottle fed.

Wild rabbits may get weened slightly faster I am not sure. They will eat normal vegetable stuff.

Grass or dandelions with no chemicals/fertilizers on them are good.

Carrots duhhh :)

Bits of apple, green lettuce, just about anything green and leafy is good. Most root type vegetables are good too.

Duhhh yourself, mom and dad never ate the carrots we put out. :p

I'll try apples though, maybe they all have a sweet tooth.

Yeah my guniea pig usually likes the carrots more then the rabbit but it depends. A couple of times the rabbit really wanted a carrot and they fought over the carrot bits. Of course there were 12 more little carrot bits in the bowl but they both wanted that particular carrot bit.

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes!
They've got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses!
And what's with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies!
Bunnies!
It must be bunnies!

Thanks Azwed. Glad to know I can still hit that pitch. Awwwwww, bunnies!

My rabbit has mood swings. Normally he is fine with people picking him up or putting fingers under his nose but sometimes he gets and attitude.

If he is in a fussy mood he will nip your finger instead of licking it and scratch at you with his claws instead of snuggling.

If you remembered that straight, without looking or watching, you rule my world.

My kingdom for 10 minutes with Emma Caufield.

Though I'd like a week.

My gf has mood swings to but that is an entirely different story.

She is a hottie. This is true.

As much as i'd like to rule someone's world, I did have to peek to make sure I remembered it correctly.
