I was just sitting here looking over next semester’s schedule. Trying to budget my time.
This is what I’ve got:
168 hrs in a Week

25.89 hrs of instruction per week
51.78 hrs for homework (more I think. I can’t remember if the study time to class time ratio is 2:1 or 3:1)
30 hrs work
49hrs of sleep if I sleep for 7 hrs (35 if I cut it down to 5 hrs a night)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
156.67 total a week (142.67 if I cut my hours back)

This is not counting cleaning my house. Cooking meals, transportation, caring for my dog, basic hygiene, eating…. Oh god!

Are you a student or teacher?

That's quite a lot of instruction time. I'm a grad student and I spend maybe 13 hours a week in class. And that's with taking a heavy load. In undergrad, virtually nobody took more than 18 hours/week.

I'm a student. *sigh* I know I should just stop bitching, but I just did the figures and well it kina shocked me
At least I've got another week before the madness begins

What are you studying? I've just never heard of anyone taking 25 hours. That really sounds crazy.

Maybe you should cut down Lit hours?

oh I will once school starts.
25 hrs is 13 units just over full time status.

What subjects are they?
Because, you may have to cut down on sleep time (sorry). :(
