As a scientist, I want to caution you not to change too many variables at once.
If you add zinc, grapefruit juice, diet and exercise, then see results, you won't know which is the appropriate factor.
Also, 14 days is probably not enough to determine.
Semen and sperm develop and incubate in the body for days before they are ejaculated.
You don't get a post-vasectomy sperm count until 3 to 4 weeks after because you could still have live sperm floating around.
You need a clean, fresh collection to measure.
I would check volume and viscosity.
Additional sperm could make you thicker and appear to have less volume.
If you need charts and graphs, let me know.
I agree that I need to try to control all but one variable; however, in real life it is difficult to control diet, which could possibly add variables. I would point out, though, that I am only taking the zinc supplement, and my wife said she would pick up another bottle when she next went to the store. I have recently changed my exercise regimen because of repetitive use injuries following lifelong participation in my sport of preference.
My observation is that viscosity increased significantly. My wife's observation is that volume increased quite a bit.
Now that this is turning into science, I regret I did not measure volume and viscosity before starting on zinc supplements.

PS - I have a long, white lab coat, freshly starched from the cleaners.
It's not enough that your avatar is batgirl, but now you mention your lab coat. Ugh. Now I'm visualizing an imaginary you transforming from mild-mannered scientist to ass-kicking caped vigilante in a skin-tight suit. That's way better than librarian-to-batgirl. I'll be distracted from my real work for the next hour!
Next you're going to tell me you wear nerdy glasses like Lisa Loeb or Zooey Deschanel (or, if you really want to distract me from work, Emma Stone) while you work in your lab coat!
