Well, I don't know about LT, but I know I found EVERYTHING in your post disagreeable! Do you HAVE children? Do you think you'd feel the same way if some creep was looking at your 16 year old daughter with thoughts of fucking her running through his head? If you can answer that, then you are the one with a mental disorder. I worked in the criminal justice system for 5 years and can say, that most pedophiles began acting out there feelings with teenagers and have 'progressed' to prepubescent boys and/or girls.

No, I don't have children. And I'm only 18, so it is hard to say how my views on life would change if I had a 16 year old daughter. But to make your hypothetical less tendentious, let's assume that the person admiring my daughter is not a creep. No, it would not bother me. People have the right to think about whatever they want. Besides, many 16 year old girls could easily pass for 18 (and some 18 year old girls look younger). Is a guy suppose to ask to see a gal's ID not only before he has sex with her, but also before he even admits to himself that he is attracted to her?

Do you have any evidence to support this statement, because I'm afraid the entire field of evolutionary psychology disagrees with you. Now just because it's natural to have these feelings, it does not follow that it is moral or legal to act on them. First of all, I'm a female. I have had sex with people younger than me before but I won't be going to jail for it because the age of consent where I live (Kansas) is 16.

It tells me that you are someone who doesn't comprehend the purpose of age of consent laws. They aren't to prevent minors from having sex (since that would impossible and I believe it is legal for two people under the age of consent to have sex with eachother). The purpose is to prevent abuse. Young children might not understand that they can say NO to an adult. Kansas law says that by the time someone is 16, they will understand that they can say no to an adult and are therefore able to give consent.
