The Wolf Pack

Hadley's face turned blank for a moment then she smiled once again, "My father is the key researcher regarding the Project. He had been studying for years to find the correct formula to enhance the human body into the perfect weapon...or so the Military likes to state. I'm really not supposed to say much of anything regarding my case but, I guess if you are curious enough to know there is no reason why I shouldn't tell you."

She sat up and crossed her legs, getting comfortable, her pale eyes dilated then went back to normal. "I do not need the pills to change; I can change on my own. The pills however help the change greatly."

"I was infected with Tim's blood through an accident; Tim was the first, the Father of the Project so to speak. At first I was very sick, then all at once I grew an immunity to it, maybe it's because my body, by being a woman, is different I don't know really. Yet, I changed naturally over the course of a couple of weeks. My father was highly upset, and refused to let me have any part in the Project even though I was the very first out of many failed attempts to transform."

She turns her eyes towards the Compound slightly smiling, “I’m a part of him, and I can feel him, smell him...for two years I have been a part of him, a part of the Project." Hadley blinks her eyes, dilated again and sniffs the air, when she turns to look at the two men her eyes had completely changed to those of a wolf's, a bright green glow to them.

"This is my life, and now it's yours...."She whispers standing up and stares off in the direction of Tim's Office.

Ian

Ian looks at Hadley with sadness in his eyes. It seems that her father should have been proud of what he had brought forth within his daughter. She was a shining example that the project worked, since she did not suffer a complete transformation like he had. This would allow her to be more effective under cover. Ian wanted to meet her father, not only to thank him for this new body and the oppurtunities it presented, but also to make him see the true value of his daughter.

Henry Gray

*Bzzzzzz*

Henry entered Kelso's building holding his hands over his ears, trying to muffle the buzzer's sound that seemed to sear into his mind every time it rang. He entered the apartment to find Kelso sitting in front of his computer in a daze. "I asked you to get information for me!!! Instead, your high and staring at your screen saver again." Henry gripped Kelso's shoulder, trying to get him out of his trance. "Kelso!!Kelso?"

Kelso's lifeless body fell to the ground, foaming at the mouth. To the trained eye, it would seem like another junkie overdosed on his own poison but Gray smelled something different in the air. He followed the scent over to a needle that had rolled under the couch. He brought the syringe to his nose, "Hmmm not drugs, not the kind Kelso was in too anyway." Grey turned his attention back to the computer, moving the mouse to reveal a message typed in the wordpad on the screen. "Stop looking or you will find what will destroy you!"

Henry picked up the monitor, in rage, and threw it against the floor. Someone was trying to intimidate him and was taking it out on his associates. He had no love for Kelso, not by a long shot, but he didn't need to die for Gray. Whatever Kelso found scared someone enough to come and kill him, but who and how did they get in? He decided he would rest, making Kelso's home his own, and try to sort things out in the morning. Henry propped the door open and carried Kelso's body down the stairs and to a broken down caddy that had been outside the building for years. Henry looked at the building and smiled, "No more sleeping on mattresses for me."

Timorne:

The hour had passed, it was time again to go out there and try to answer all the young pup's questions. Striding out onto the training grounds, Timorne looked about, seeing Hadley with Ian and Wesley. Syifer and the others had gone off on their own. With a wave, Timorne motioned Hadley and the two with her back. He waited with a growing edginess to his stance as they came over. "Hadley, did you see where the others went off to?" He asked, his voice much calmer than would be expected.

Ian

Ian walked back with Wes and Hadley towards Timorne. He listened as Timorne asked Hadley some questions. With his new senses , Ian notice that Tim seemed disturbed. He wondered what it was that caused this.

"I'm afraid not Tim, I was not paying full attention." She blushed and looked down at her hands. "I am sure they will return shortly though....I hope."

Her pale eyes glanced around, and she then returned them to Tim's gaze. A blush colored her cheeks once more for not being responsible enough to keep an eye on everyone.

Timorne:

"Just don't let them have gone rogue... Thats all we would need..." Timorne whispered to himself as he turned. Once again, he went back to his private quarters. Quickly he activated a com sat, and relayed the message that two of the subjects were missing, and presumed rogue...

Syife Marauder

Not wishing to join in the childish horseplay, Syife had wandered off on his own. Taking it slow at first, he was eventually overcome by the wild energy flowing through this new form... Throwing all inhibition to the wind, Syife took off running as fast as his legs could carry him. The world streaked by, and he marveled at the newly found strength. Several minutes later, he came to a stop near a small stream, panting slightly from the exertion. He studied his reflection in the water. He had become a beast, his human features completely obliterated... He wondered if he'd ever change back to his human form. Probably - the agent and the girl could, so why not him?

A strong scent suddenly caught his attention. It was warm, musty, the smell of....prey? Bloodlust kicking in, Syife dashed into the nearby woods. A flash of brown on his left... He leaped, taking the deer down under his weight. Its neck snapping like a dry twig, the deer's body went limp in his hands. Letting out a howl of pure exhiliration, Syife ripped into its flesh, his snout tearing out huge chunks of meat... Thirty minutes later, little was left of the carcass except for skin and bones. Wiping the blood off his face, Syife growled with pleasure. What a great gift had been given to him! He really should thank agent Tim. "Oh shit!" he said to no one in particular. They were probably already looking for him. Catching his sense of direction, he headed for the headquarters at a rapid trot.

Ian

Ian looked towards the tree line and sees that Syife is coming back towards them. His keen eyes reveal the smear of red blood matting the fur on Syife's chest. So that is what he was doing while we were exploring our powers. I wonder how if felt to be able to make a kill in this new body. I will make my own kill later. It looks like he had some fun with it. Ian nudges Wes, to get his attention.

OOC: Sorry, guys, the Bobo moved across town and lost his internet for a couple of weeks. sorry.

Wesley Side:

As though Ian jarring him should have done, Wesley finally, turns to the other neophite some time later and asks him, innocently, "Huh? Did you say something?" Following Ian's pointed finger, he laughs under his breath at Syife and his bloody, tell-tale fur. "I see what you mean, Ian."

Hadley let out a sigh of relief when she saw Syife finally returning, that meant one more was out there somewhere....

She glanced towards Tim and saw the look on his face, he was worried too, they had already problems regarding Rogues once before. Though the matter got handle as quickly as possible they still had not caught all of them. She sniffed the air, she could still smell the other's scent but he was nowhere in sight. At least he had not left the compound just yet, she gently touched Tim's arm getting his attention. "He may just have lost track of time, the transformation can do that sometimes." Her voice was soft as she looked at him....

Timorne:

Nodding to Hadley as he took in the sight of Syifer, Timorne shifted his gaze to scan the area.

Ian

Ian is concerned as to why they keep looking around. "What is it that concerns you so? Should we be alarmed as you two are. What can we do to help you? " Ian waits so see if he will get a straight answer. Considering that there is no going back to the way they had been , they were all in this together.

Timorne:

Turning to face Ian, Tim stepped toward him. "As you may have figured, we have been doing this, creating more like ourselves for some time... Only recently has it begun to work with any percentage of success, accepting Hadley here, that is... And even still, the percentage of Lycanthropy taking with no ill effects is not yet the the best... So we must keep a close eye on our subjects for the first few months..." He looked at Hadley, dissapointed that she had let one of their number slip away like he had. "So there is one of you out there, the change doing god know's what to him... I've seen some horrible... Mistakes..." Timorne turned away, to face Syifer, looking him over critically. "Please, go clean up." Was all he could say.

Wesley Side:

"Mistakes?" he growls back. "Is that supposed to make us feel better. First I turn into this ... this... this thing. And, now you're telling me I might go nuts, too?" Growling loudly, Wesley starts walking after Syife. "I'm going to take a shower."

Syife Marauder

"Yeah, yeah, I'm going." Syife turns around and starts for the showers. "Thanks for the warm welcome, asshole." he mumbles under his breath.

Ian

Ian contemplates what has just been said. He wonders how many other mistakes there are around. Maybe that is the purpose for them, to find these other "mistakes". Ian wonders what happened to the other member of their team, as he joins the others to go wash up. It has been a strange strange day so far.

She tried to seem confident but in all honesty she was upset highly with herself, Tim's look of disappointment didn't help any either. Biting her bottom lip she surveyed the grounds once more then sighed silently, doubt of her partnership of the Project seeping into her mind. Maybe she shouldn't have anything to do with it; maybe her father was right....

"Or maybe I'm just an idiot regardless." she spouted, almost loud enough to be heard. A blush crept over her dark features and she cleared her voice, “I will do whatever you wish of me to do, but I think that maybe I shouldn't be in charge of anything else. It seems I am absent minded lately, which will not help with progress." She spoke firmly to Tim, her eyes watering, but the tears don't flow, sighing once more she mouthed the words 'I'm Sorry' and turned to head back to the compound

Wesley Side:

After the shower, Wesley feels much better. Barely recalling the anger he had, Wesley dries off and decides to seek out Tim or Hadley and ask them about changing back. After all, what good would a weapon like this be if you have to wear it all of the time?

"Hey Syife. Do you remember them saying anything about changing back?"

Ian

Ian overheards the others. He had not really thought about the idea of changing back. This whole experience was so new, he did not want it to end. But then, Hadley and Tim were able to go back to human form. Ian tried to think of how to do it. He barely remembered how the pill had made him feel. He tried to picture in his mind, his old human form. He pushes his mind to try and attain that form again. He feels some pain, but not like before . His body curls up in a ball of effort and sweat. HE cries out briefly, but then his body relaxes. He holds his hands out if front of him, and they are human, no longer claws. He looks at the others with a smile of triumph. "Look it can be done. "

Timorne:

Glaring at Syifer as he walked away, his hearing keen enough to hear the pup even at a distance and in a whisper... "We must keep an eye on that one." He stated as he turned to Hadley. He paused as he looked into her watering eyes, knowing that he had hurt her with his careless words. He rushed to her side, and caught her by the shoulder, gently turning her to face him. "Hadley, don't take it so hard... Mistakes happen, and even if you had been alert, if what I believed has happened would still have happened, and someone could have gotten hurt. At least we know the rest of them are safe..." He focused on her eyes as he said all this. "You're thinking of your father, and what he said, arn't you?" Timorne asked suddenly.

She sighed heavily and leaned forward, her head resting on his chest for only a moment before pulling away. "It's ok, I'm just tired, and dreading his return. Also...” She glanced around uneasily before speaking. "The Season is coming soon, I will have to be locked up within the walls of the compound. I hate that I hate being locked up, I go crazy you know...."She whispered.

Tim nodded to her; he understood completely how she felt. She quickly kissed his cheek, "I'm going to go nap, I need it, I will return within two hours." She jogged off, leaving them to their selves.

Timorne:

Standing there, watching Hadley jog off, Timorne frowned. He knew how hard it was for her whenever her father was around, the man had never accepted what she had become, and although he never said anything aloud, his dissapointment was obvious. Sometimes Timorne could smell fear on him as well...

Shaking his head, he turned away, to head toward the barracks. "Shit, he's going to arive just in time to see his daughter in heat..." He growled in annoyance as he entered the barracks. "Men! Get yourselves ready, we are going out to find the stray member of your group!"

Ian

Ian heard Timorne call out . "Men! Get yourselves ready, we are going out to find the stray member of your group!" He gets dressed again, and walks out of the barracks. He sees the incredulous looks as Tim realizes that Ian figured out how to change back. "I figured out how to change back to human, but not sure how to change back to the other form. What should I do? "

Timorne:

"Congradulations Ian, you really seem to be taking to the change extremely well." Timorne said as he turned to face him. "As far as changing back, do you remember how you felt when you were in your half form? Try to feel that again, as it seems you already figured out all there is to changing is 'feeling' it..." Timorne said with a pleased smile.

He turned back and waited for the rest of them to prepare, and follow him.
