The Wolf Pack

Wesley Side:

Taking one of Ian's cigarettes, Wesley places it into one of the pockets in his Hawaaian shirt. "I don't have a watch, but I feel like going out to those training grounds." Without waiting for the others, he tramps out of the building in search of the agent.

Ian

Ian hands Wes a cigarette. He watchs as Wes up and leaves the barracks. Ian thinks about doing the same since he is also fed up with waiting, but something holds him back. Maybe it was the look of disdain from the Agent towards them all; as if he could have killed them all at a whim. Ian was determined to try and stay on the good side of that man. Something about him really worried Ian, but he could not put his finger on it.

Hadley Suvari

She curled a strand of dark hair around her long finger and twisted it, her pale green eyes scanning the room. She sighed and glanced at her watch, he should have been back by now, what was taking so long. She uncrossed and re-crossed her long stocking clad legs, her nerves on edge. There was something in the air, she couldn’t name it but it was there…something very uneasy. A loud thunder clap echoed through the walls of the room making her jump.

“Jesus Hadley, chill girl!” She whispered and stood looking out the window and across to the thick woods and rolling hills surrounding the hidden compound. She sniffed the air and frowned, “Rain, a storms coming…bad night for a storm.”

Another thunder clap jolted her out of her thoughts and she moved away from the window. Again her strange pale eyes scanned the wall clock waiting….

Agent Tim:

With but a breath, Tim paused outside his room, a smile crossed his lips. He opened the door just as a thunder clap cut through the air. "Hello Hadley, how was your leave?" He asked as he came up beside her, smelling the nervousness rolling off her skin. "The boy's are here, rather impatient to get started I think... Soon as you're ready, we should get out to the training field..." With a smirk, Tim added. "And tell them what they're here for..."

Bored of playing with his nails, Syife pulled his chair up to an old wooden table and started carving an elaborate still-life on its soft surface. Before long, a somewhat crude depiction of a bowl of fruit was permanently etched on the table. Slipping the knife back into his pocket, he leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes. Shit, he should have brought some reading material to this meeting. Maybe that new Clancy novel he'd read about in Newsweek...

Ian

Ian takes out another cigarette. He lazily blows smoke rings as he passes the time. He looks over at his companions and sees that they are similarily bored. Ian came here for some excitement, but had not seen any yet. He crushed out the cigarette and let another.

She turned as he entered the room and a smile brighter then the sun itself curved her red full lips. "Tim!" She embraced him in a hug and looked him over. "I see you have been doing well while I was away?"

He nodded and opened the door for her as they walked out into to the hall. She smiled once more and added," You know my father would kill me if he found out I was here. Luckily he will not return for another two days, I can assist until then. After that however we will have to find another way for me to participate with in the training."

She blinked her eyes and sniffed the air, “Do you smell the storm rolling in?"

Tim:

"Okay, that should work out alright, for now. But I don't like it when you're off on your own, you know the dangers out there, and until we have hunted down all of the... Stray's, none of us are safe alone..." They walked down the hall and out of Tim's building, heading toward the barracks as Tim continued. "I got about five new guys here, they've yet to take the initiation... God, I wish you could stay around, its gonna be a pain in the ass keeping them in line the first few weeks... I remember when you..." He stopped in mid sentence as they stood at the Barracks door. With a nod to Hadley, he stepped into the building. "Alright, listen up men, I want you all out on the field in five minutes!" He barked as he stood in the door way.

Wesley Side:

Wandering around outside, Wesley finds what must be the training field. Just then, he hears a voice from the barracks. Looking back, Wesley sees that the Agent has told the others to come out to the field.

Ian

Ian heard the agent yelling for them all to come out to the field. He puts out his cigarette, blowing the last bit of smoke out of his mouth. "Looks like things are finally moving along. Lets go." Ian opens the barracks door and goes out to the field.

Syife's eyes snapped open when he heard the order to come outside. It was about time... "Yeah, I'm going." He said, heading for the door.

Hadley raised an eyebrow as they approached the Barracks; she jumped as another loud Thunder Clap sounded. Then as Tim stepped in she waited outside patiently, her eyes searching the surroundings. She knew it would help if she could stay around longer, but the deal her father had made with the leaders of the 'Project' clearly stated she was to be no part of it. However she always found some way around his rules without completely breaking them. Maybe she would find a way around this one as well; again she took a deep breath and a waited to be introduced. Her body was tense, and she popped her neck trying to loosen up her stance, she didn't want to seem too intimidating by being the only woman in the Compound.

Wesley Side:

From the training grounds, Wesley watches his companions and the Agent, not to mention a woman, approach him. Well, he thinks to himself, now we find out what's really going on here.

Agent Tim:

As he excorted Hadley out to the field, Tim reached into the deep pocket of his heavy military issue coat. He took out a cragged rock, the size of his fist, clenching it in his hand he took a deep breath as the outer most layer of it powdered in his grasp. Once everyone was gathered and standing before him, Tim turned to Hadley. "Catch, my dear, and lets show the boy's why they're here..." He said with a smile as he tossed the rock to her. "Watch close boys, you don't wanta miss this..." He said as he clapped his hands together to clean them of the dust. Something about his stature now had a keen sence of animalism to it, yet he looked no different.

Ian

Ian is intrigued to see what is going to happen next. He noticed that the agent's powerful grip caused the outer layers of stone to crumble to dust. That was a damned powerful grip that he had there. Then seeing the agent toss the rock to the women threw Ian off. What could she possibly do to top what he had just done. Ian wondered if the others even noticed what the agent had done to the rock.Where did he get that freakish strength. Ian accounted himself a very strong man, he was bred big and worked to stay that way. Even he could not have done the same thing to that rock. His eyes opened, Ian watched the precedings with his full attention.

Hadley caught the rock in her hand and turned it a few times with her fingers. She then grinned and winked holding her palm up, the rock in the center of it. Her pale strange eyes looked towards each man then with a bored blink she closed her hand tightly around it. Arching her eyebrow she took a deep breath, the muscle in her arm flexed then relaxed...as she opened her hand a slight breeze blew the dust from where the rock had been. She giggled; glanced at Tim, and then turned her eyes back to the men and said in a matter-of-fact tone, "I didn't even try to smash it."

She licked her lips and wiped her hands together cleaning them, “Well Men, ready to know how I did that?"

Quinn

OOC: Been a way too long.... too long indeed.:(

IC: Quinn keeping to him self the whole time heard the order to approche the trraning feild, so he quickley unpacked and fllowed the rest of the men. Once on the tranning ground he saw a women.... and she ws doing something with a rock... then it broke

Quinn looked shocked by this:eek: , Quinn had fought a lot of people in hte UFC.... but none of them ever did taht as far he knew. This should be intresting.

"...how I did that?"

Syife scratched his chin in boredom. "Sure, I'd love to know how you did that cheap parlor trick. But could you do the rabitt-from-a-hat one too while you're at it?" He hadn't come all the way out here to see a magic show... Yet, he could sense something strange about the agent and the woman. He decided to stick around for a while longer, to see where this was going...

Wesley Side:

Dumbfounded as usual, Wesley watches as the two agents play with the rock. "Well, I can shatter concrete with my palm-heel strike, so I don't see why this is so amazing. If you've got something to tell us about, then on with it. Or is this just a waste of my time. I didn't walk all this way to watch you guys play with a rock. I figured we were getting paid for something."

Ian

Ian looks in disbelief as the rock dust blows out of her palm. The other men seem to be skeptical of what they had just seen, but Ian believes she really did it. The aura of power is almost palpable around her. This will bear closer scrutiny, that is for sure.

Agent Tim:

"Gentlemen! If you need more proof, I'll see to it..." With that, Tim produced another rock, similar to the last, but this time, he held it to himself, crushed it just as Hadley did with her's but he took the dust, in the palm of his hand, and lifted it to his nose. With a sharp inhale, the dust was gone. Tim acted as though it was the most pleasureable thing... Then he lowered his head, showing a main of hair, spontaneously growing down his back, the eerie sound of bone popping and reinstating itself was audible, and within moments, he was nominally recognizable as human... Stretching and arching his back, he looked about them, with yellow, glowing eyes. "My name is Timorne..." He said, his voice tinged with a growl. With a sharp look toward Hadley, he made it clear that if any of them ran, they must be stopped.

Ian

Ian could only watch in horror, as the Agent changed in front of their eyes to something less than human. Remembering the power inherent in this man, maybe more than human. Regarding the glowing yellow eyes, Ian wonders what he has gotten himself into.

Wesley Side:

Dear Lord. Wesley realizes that he is slowly backing away from the man: or whatever that thing is. Instantly, he drops into a standard ready-position. If it's a fight this thing wants, Wesley is as ready as he could be. "How many damn times do I have to ask?" His gruff tone hiding the fear in his bones. "What do you want from us? And after this freakshow, the pay had better be phenomenal!" After shouting off the challenge, he begins swaying on his feet, ready to pounce, like a boxer. Of course, he's only doing this to hide the incredible trembling in his knees.

An abandoned warehouse deep within the heart of Pittsburgh

The rats scampered across the floor, searching for food and water as their 'roommate' Henry lay in a deep sleep on a nearby mattress he had picked out of a trash container. The rats scatter at the sound of something similar to a lion's roar, a sound you don't here too often in Pittsburgh considering the nearest zoo is in Philadelphia, at least five hours away. The roar didn't belong to a lion though, it belong to a creature that used to be a man named Henry Grey but now he was something else entirely.

Waking up from a nightmare, he leapt from the mattress and put his fist through the decaying floor below him, grabbing a rather large rat. He looked at the vermin squirm in his massive hand through bloodshot eyes and snickered as it cut itself on Henry's long sharp claws. He began to squeeze the rat harder, forcing a high pitch squell from its mouth before opening his hand and releasing it.

As the rat scampered away, Henry walked over to the window and stared outside at the city before him. At 4:30 pm, it was alive with acitivity, people were going home to see their families and kiss their children. Henry was once one of those people who longed for 5:00 to roll around so he could jump in his Jeep and head home to a piece of meatloaf and a can of Budweiser, just like his old man did when Henry was a boy. He would never get to do anything like that though, they robbed him of that and so much more.

They deformed him and mutated him until he couldn't go out into the sun, fearing the prying eyes of society around him. Their machines probed and scanned him until he could no longer keep down anythig cold without getting searing stomach pains. The liquids used in their experiment burnt patches of his skin away, only to be replaced with fur. It's safe to say his dreams of marrying a prom queen and having 2.3 kids and a dog were shattered all because of them, because of his government. He wanted so badly to find all of them and break them just like he had been broken. He wanted them to gasp in horror as their Frankenstein returned and reaked havoc, he wanted blood.

Timorne:

Locking his eyes upon Wesley, Timorne flashed his teeth. "Inadvisable, pup, would you flaunt a piece of raw meat in front of a wild wolf?" Looking about he smelled the pervasive scent of fear, he expected as much, and secretly, it excited him, but he had learned enough control over this side of himself that he was its complete master. Mentally he forced the beast down, down, until he slowly returned to a form recognisable as human. An unsettling smile filled his lips as he gave Hadley a look. "Well, they didn't run, might be we've found a pack after all." Then, directing himself to the rest of them, he announced. "This outfit is prepared to offer you the chance, no, the HONOR to become its most potent weapon. Imagine the power we are offering you." Timorne breathed, his expression showing a strange passion.
Just then, a heavy rain began to fall. "You may all retire, for the night, I'll expect an answer from each of you at 0600 hours."

OOC: Okay, guys, I came up with the idea that, if you snort moon rock, you can instantly change to wolfed out form, hold it and it just makes you really strong... So on and so forth. Hope you like that.
