Hello old friends,

No, I'm not calling you old! I'm what's OLD! LOL....

Just pouncing in to let you know that our Wicked Eve is now being featured in the latest edition of Lotus Blooms Journal. Check it out! Read her poems as you listen to her recite them. Just click on the microphone on the bottom and don't forget to check out her interviews by clicking onto the text box next to the microphone.

Explore the works of two other fabulous artists as well. You may see someone else you know.

Go to: http://www.lotusbloomsjournal.com

Pour yourself a scotch, get comfy, and explore the wonder of the Lotus. :)

Parker's comment is pathetic.

Okay, what pathetic thing, in your opinion, did UP say?

Kat, Pal :)

You talkin to me?

Wicked E’s poetry is quite good. Something you failed to acknowledge completely. Duh! I can see you have run amok here with no one to offer constructive criticism of your poems. There is nothing quite like the display of hubris unchecked.

As with your poetry I have no idea what you are babbling about. I’ll say this just for you Sennachewbacka. There are no comments on any of the pages by me, but thank you for the credit. I think you need to whip out that old polish/english dictionary or put away the shot glass.

Lucidity is a good thing.

U.P.

So how come when I click on the link I get a mostly blank page? Where do I go from there?

Regards, Rybka

Fish, click on invitation only and then let the flash do its thing. Then click gallery 2 for me or 3 for SA storm. Gallery 1 has a fantastic poet! Then when you get to the first poem, there's a drop down box at the bottom to navigate to the next poem. And on each page you'll find an audio symbol and another symbol of a page/paper that opens a small window with Q and A from an interview.

All I get is a blank page with some "clickables" like "Conservatory", "Prose", etc., in a yellow box on the left side nothing else. I see no "Invitation only". :(

I think maybe Rybka's having the same problem I was having. Ever since this edition came out I was trying to see it, but couldn't. All I got was a blank page with a pale yellow stripe on the left and a half dozen red X's. I think there's something wrong with my Macromedia Flash, but for some reason I couldn't download it again. I switched from IE to Netscape yesterday and was able to reinstall Flash and can now get in. I hadn't realized the audio and page symbols were links, because they weren't working for me (I tried repeatedly). Now that you mentioned it, though, I went back and realized that they are links, but only if the page is scrolled all the way up. Luckily I have a big monitor with 1280x1024 resolution, or I wouldn't be able to click some of them.

Congratulations on the feature, Eve. You know I'm one of the biggest fans of your poetry. ;)

Congrats Eve!

The poems look and sound terrific (why am I not surprised :)). I especially liked "Painting Indiscretions" and "Morna's Last Room," but really it's a matter of degrees, lol. The whole look of the gallery, too, is very stylish, very elegant. I'm happy to see your work showcased and getting the recognition it deserves. Onward and upward! :) :rose:

I'll drop UP or Daughter a note about that. I was having some problems with the audio and page symbols myself.
It's probably too late now, but I'll suggest that they try having both a flash and html version for the next feature.

Thanks L. :) I'm just now tip toeing out into the world of poetry. I've submitted to some other sites. To the other sites: "Please contact me. Why are you ignoring me? Post my poetry! Please!"

I think daughter is reading Painting Indiscretions and another one.
By the way, do you ever check your PMs anymore? :p

yeah--in fact I just cleaned out my inbox. Bio. Yes, bio. lol
And I sent a bunch asking bunches of questions. Don't make me hunt you down like a dawg! (We have dawgs in the South.)

Congratulations Eve

A brilliant group of poems and I love the layout.

Normally my poor machine has trouble with anything advanced but everything ran beautifully. (Netscape on a lame Mac).

questions?

I thought I answered em. Maybe not--I have a cold and I can't think so well tonight. Forgive me, lol.

Eve, I mean the useless 7 part series "About poetry". It makes no sense to discuss it, it'd be a waste of time. (Does U.S.Parker=UP)?
