The weekly ABC...Themed thread:

Tali, absolutely fantastic photos!

Love the old school weights you rock and still use to keep you fit and sexy!

Your story is so impressive; you are a strong, beautiful woman inside and out.

I hope that you keep it up for the next 40 years (and keep sharing photos too)!
😈🌹

For W I did Weights. So far the things I've done in this thread have special meaning to me and my weights are no exception because they're helping me to stay off dialysis.

Having Type 1 Diabetes for over 35 years has been hard on my organs and I've had all the problems that diabetes causes....multiple eye surgeries so I can see, pancreas and gall bladder removed, I have very thick blood and I'm prone to blood clots, so I've had clots removed from both ankles so I could keep my feet. Hopefully I won't get any that go to my brain, heart or lungs.

Six years ago my kidney function was dropping fast and I was sent to a kidney specialist who put me on a very restricted diet that's pretty much a Paleo diet, ugh, and told me to exercise more to improve circulation.

I love a good challenge and throwing around weights is challenging, so it holds my interest, plus there's a ton of workout vids on youtube.

The good news is that my kidney function hasn't gotten any worse in the past 4 years, so if what I'm doing is helping, I'm just going to Rocky this bitch and keep fighting.

The pictures are blue because it's the support ribbon color for diabetes.

As always your pictures are every bit as fascinating as you are yourself tali. I've always admired you're can-do, live life and positivity outlook. :rose:

Wonderful.. good for you to take charge of your own body! Takes real will power and a strong mind!!!:rose::kiss:

I may share again to make up for missing 'V' week, but here I am enjoying my favorite beverage for 'W'.

For those who don't speak Czech, sound it out 😜

Huh... I'm massively diabetic and didn't even know we had a color.
Well I like blue already, so that's a positive. :D

Keep fighting hard.
Being diabetic sucks, especially when it feels like this disease gets ignored for more well known things like cancer, but never give up.

I haven't had it as hard as you have (although it has tried to kill me already), but we can't let it win.:heart::rose:

Thank you for sharing this Tali. I had no idea. You do well to keep your health fairly stable now. Keep it up.

Always love your pics and these are up to your usual standard.
Thank you Todger, I will keep it up, I love my life and it's worth fighting for!:heart:
Oh, Tali! 💙💙💙
Keep doing what you are doing! Health is the best motivator when there are very specific consequences, not an abstract "healthy food and exercise are good for you", isn't it?

Type II in remission, keto + swimming.
It is a great motivator that I use every time I hear that voice that tells me I don't need to do it today, ugh, that voice is relentless sometimes.

So happy that you're in remission, that is wonderful news, keep it up lovely lady!! :rose::heart:

Thank you! My father raised me to tackle anything that comes along in life, so that's what I do! :)

Thank you tnman, I'm a firm believer that if you put positive out in the world, it will come back to you and so far it has because I may have a disease, but I have wonderful people in my life like you folks here and family that make it worth it every day!
Wonderful.. good for you to take charge of your own body! Takes real will power and a strong mind!!!
Thank you CM , kick life in the ass, am I right?? :)

Me too, I love blue as well! Our symbol is a blue circle and Diabetes awareness month is in November.

It is brutal sometimes isn't it? Never give up John, we want you here!

Why didn’t I think of this one before?

V is for video games.

Hehe, very clever. Wouldn't you prefer to be playing with your joystick, though?

Lovely shadows, Willie. It gives really good contours to your body. Gorgeous.

I'm not Very late.

I call this Vistor. :D

You could be in Oasis in that coat.... :) Slightly sinister, but in an interestingly arousing way.

I messed up the alphabet in my head and thought this was going to be a u week. Oh, well, maybe in the next round, if there going to be one.

For W I am going with a whip. Ok, it's a flogger, but a lot of people call it flogger whip, and no matter what you call it, you still can be whipped by it.

Wow. That's quite an implement. Great photo, I love the composition, and the colour just in the boots.

Late one from last week, but it is a holiday in Ontario.

V is for Vest. This old fishing vest has been my camp tool box for years. Wearing it leads to what my Scouts used to call "The Pocket dance" wherein I pat all the pockets looking for my knife, matches or sunglasses.

Here's my fat hairy gut:

I'm going to post an alternate in my FUR thread

Plenty of pockets for toys there  And fur... *smiles*

The only thing I could think of for W was wet.

Wet is always good, right?

Grand! Over ice? Or not? What is traditional?

Thought provoking shot. I might pinch and run though. ;)

Normally I don't answer the door because of solicitors, but I would answer the door for you wilderness, good lord that is sexy!!:devil:
Thanks for answering the door, Tali. I got locked out getting the mail. I’m freezing. Would you help me warm up?

Thanks, Numi, I like that description. Are you referring to Oasis the band?

Great pics Tali. I admire your dedication and commitment. I have an awful time sticking with it, as my pics suggest.

(It obviously pays dividends aside from better overall health).

Busy as a mad hatter at present, so will have to rely on one from a while ago in Superheroes. Wonderwoman knickers.

haha, yeah, side effects that are actually good!! Thanks TAN!
Way behind this week,

I believe in the UK this is referred to as a Waistcoat (and inexplicably pronounced "Westcott")

Time is running out on W. What on earth will X bring?

httpsswg.jpg

And styling with the pocket watch, nice!
