Female teachers are, on the whole, sexist. At least according to researchers. From HuffPo:

Female teachers mark male pupils more harshly than they do their female students, research has claimed.

Additionally, girls tend to believe male teachers will look upon them more favourably than female teaching staff, but men treat all students the same, regardless of gender.

The study, released on Thursday, told 1,200 students in 29 schools to place financial bets on who would give them higher grades: external examiners or their teacher.

The study was conducted in the UK, but I'm just going to ignore that and make this bold statement: female teachers are sexist and they're waging a war on men. Steps need to be taken. Laws need to be passed.

To say gender relations have changed dramatically is an understatement. Ever since the sexual revolution, there has been a profound overhaul in the way men and women interact. Men haven’t changed much – they had no revolution that demanded it – but women have changed dramatically.

In a nutshell, women are angry. They’re also defensive, though often unknowingly. That’s because they’ve been raised to think of men as the enemy. Armed with this new attitude, women pushed men off their pedestal (women had their own pedestal, but feminists convinced them otherwise) and climbed up to take what they were taught to believe was rightfully theirs.

Now the men have nowhere to go.

Well, sure, after being graded unfairly by a lot of angry female teachers, who would want to get married to one?

Hmn... Well I can't say that I can honestly see any evidence of this whatsoever over here where I live during most of the year. However I have encountered it in other countries and I was aware of it when my father was alive and teaching - the thing seemed to come and go in waves of several years.

I just cannot honestly say that it is at all evident in Australia with respect to Australian female teachers - and there are a lot of teachers from Asia, the UK, and South Africa here too and it isn't evident with them either from what I have seen.
