The King of the Gods is retiring due to old age, so he is giving Earth to his children. Each child will be given a fair share of Earth’s surface.

His children have no idea their the hair of a god, and have lived a “normal” life up to the point they find hem selves in a dream where God talks to them all in a big meeting kind of thing.

Each new God starts to fight with each other for more land. Human instinct is still apart of them, amongst the war, they also have to deal with human desire and wants.

This’ll be a fun thread.

Sylvosh:

Insane, depraved white male desperately seeks woman to chase the leprechans from under his hat.

At least if Sylvosh wrote a personal ad, it might look like this. Scavenging through dumpsters and attacking anyone who looks unlike him (thankfully, everyone else) causes this lunatic to smell quite foul and look quite bruised. Last night was particularly unlucky for Sylvosh. He wound up getting beaten by three kids in grammar school. Never the less, he could still make it to the bar where he had a bartender for a friend. He never did remember the fun he had on nights that started in the bar: that would be six nights a week.

Sylvosh had a dream last night telling him that he is going to be the new god of this island chain called Hawaii. He wonders what that's all about. Suddenly craving a steak, Sylvosh decides that he should go to the local grill and try to steal one. No sooner had he decided on that eventuality, he found himself opening the door and screaming like a little girl.

Just outside his door, a man wearing odd clothes stood holding a shiny plate that was covered. The gentleman bowed quickly and handed the plate to Sylvosh saying something in a language that Sylvosh had never heard before. Then, the man turned and walked away. Sylvosh would have followed him, but the smell from the platter attracted his attention. Under the silver cover, a large portion of beef steak was still steaming from a fresh cooking. The plate also had weird green things on it and some starch. The steak, however, was Sylvosh's only concern; and soon, he found himself sitting at a table licking his fingers clean and wondering if he would like more.

"Jason!"

"Arrrr, what?" Jason softly yelled through his door. His mother had been trying to wake him up for a while now.

"Hurry up and get ready, you don't want to be late for swimming again!"

"Yes," Wiping the sleep from his eyes. "mum, be right out."

Stepping out of bed, he remembers his dream... "Man that was some odd dream." He thinks to himself as he walks over to his cubord, to get dressed.

Putting on his glassess, he can't see through them. "Time for new glassess." He putshis glassess down, picks up his bag and heads outside.

"See ya' later mum." He yells over his soulder as he rides off on his bike.

Stretching out in her bed, Tania pushed the covers aside and smacked the radio alarm with the palm of her hand. Another day, same old shit. Sitting up she rubbed her temples, the dream still floating inside her mind.

She had been on top of a mountain, standing on a ledge that faced the great openess of Egypt. It was as though she belonged there. She had smelled the dampness in the air as the rains passed through the valley bellow her. Felt the stones under her feet, and the rough touch of her skin that was bronzed by the sun.

Tania shook her head clear, stood up and stretched again. Walking over to her window, she noticed the guy who lived in the appartment next to her get into his car. A brand new Lexus. Some present from someone she figured. There was no way he could afford it on his salary. Tania glared down at him, wishing his tire would go flat or something.

Kelly muttered under her breath as she dug furiously in her garden. "Damn weeds always growing right where I don't want them!" She brushed the hair off her forhead leaving a smudge of dirt in it's place. She had come out here first thing this morning disturbed by a dream she had been having through the night. God of Ireland, hah! What a ludicrus idea. Shaking her head at her silly dream she went back to her furious digging.

“You, my children, now will take my place; like I did for m y father millions of years ago. Your life will be as you choose, and over time, you will gain your powers. Because there is so many of you, you’ll each be given a country. Some small, some big, but only one will you be given.”

Jason could still remember his dream, as if it really happened. “God? Please… Man my dreams are really odd.” He thought to himself as he continued to ride his bike.

Out of nowhere, as it seemed, a Baseball Bat stuck out and hit Jason’s front wheel, and the impact throw him over the handlebars.

“Arrrrrgh!” Moaned Jason as he seat up. “That’s going to leave a mark.” Looking down, he could not see any broken skin. “What the?” It was as it didn’t happen, he wasn’t sore, he could move fine… “Odd.” He thought.

“De’Mour!” Came a loud voice from behind Jason. “I told you to stay off my land, geek. Now, you pay the price!” The Baseball Bat slang down fast and hit Jason in back off the head.

Jason didn’t even twitch, yet the Baseball Bat snapped in two. “Whoa! What the fuck?… What the hell are you?”

Rolling another joint, and wondering about that weird dream, Sylvosh decides to test it out. Stoned out of his mind, he decides to take this one on the road. He lights up and leaves the safety of his drawn-curtain house. Deciding to be risky, he leaves the Buick in the driveway and walks over to the house on the corner. That cherry red 1959 Corvette calls to him from the driveway.

Too high to care, he walks right to the driver's door and check to see if it's unlocked. No; but it does click when he tries the handle. Surprisingly, the second time he tries the handle, it opens with ease; and, before he closes the door, the engine starts on its own accord. He hears the roar of the eight cylinders begging to be freed. As the punk owner barrels through the front door of his house, Sylvosh drops the Vette into first gear and feels the dual four barrel carburetors drop the gas into the engine as the tires squeal and the smell of burning rubber leaves him behind.

Laughing, he speeds past a state trooper just for the attention. Well, he sure gets the attention.

"God Damnit!"
He picked up the book for about the thirtieth time, content in throwing it out the window this time, he really was. The book held in his hand, the weight good and comforting. He stood there, poised, Geology about to take a flying leap.
Of course, he didn't. He set the book back down, opening it up to the last page, and carefully writing down the drifferent faults.
"Hanging wall, my ass."
He drew little diagrams in his notebook, the pen saking as it made the lines.
Two pots of coffee already sacrificed for this entire final, and a third was brewing up at the moment. He hadn't slept for more than a day now, and it was beginning to get to him.
He smelled bad. He was deprived of sleep, but showers were nothing more than a memory.
The clock boasted of being around 9. Not too bad, he thought to himself. Still most of the morning, and afternoon before test time.
One shower couldn't hurt. Cold enough, it might wake him up, give him one of those second winds.
He took a shower, long and cold as he could handle it, before drying and putting himself in some decent clothes.
The book, lying open on the table, mocking his very being.
"Geology, who in the hell cares about geology?"
He growled, turning the pages from batholiths to granite shield volcanoes. His eye lids drooped just taking it in.
"Coffee," he said, cutting off a yawn to do so, "More coffee."
And a beer.
Some heroin wouldn't hurt either.
He took a big cup, going back to his studies.

Tania made her way down the two flights of stairs of her appartment building when she ran into the guy with the Lexus.

"Oh, sorry" he mumbled, sidesteping a bit to let Tania pass. His hair was all messed up, and he had a greese stain on his shirt.

"Oh, what happend?" she asked.

"My tire got a flat." he replied, looking at Tania now for the first time. "When I got in the car it was ok, but as I started to drive off one of the back tires blew. I changed it alright but I got a mark on my suit. I'm gonna be late for work I guess." He smiled at Tania, thinking her pretty.

Tania managed a weak smile before pushing past and racing down the rest of the stairs. Glancing up for a moment, she noticed the guy was still there and looking at her. She shivered, then pushed pass more people and out the front doors.

She couldn't believe it. It had to be a coincidence. Tania rattled her brain as she walked the 8 blocks to work. Normally she didn't mind the long walk to work, but today something stuck in the back of her mind and she couldn't make it go away. She stopped into a little coffee shop to pick up her usual expresso and for the second time that morning got an surge of jealousy. Sitting in the corner of the shop was someone she worked with, and today she was sporting the new fall jacket from Neman Marcus. Tania herself had wanted to buy that, but funds were low in her account and she needed to pay the bills first. She was scowling when it was her turn to order coffee and she sounded a little curt.

"Yes mam. Hey, nice jacket." the person taking her order said.

"Umm thanks" Tania replied, looking down to see her old grey coat gone, and in its place the red jacket from N.M. "What the..." Tania thought. After paying for her coffee and leaving the store, Tania looked herself up and down. What was going on?

Arriving at work, she received a lot of coments about her new purchase. Tania just replied with thank you's and politely smiled. She still didnt know what was going on, but she liked it.

Sylvosh:

Flying down the road--and sometimes the sidewalk--in the stolen Corvette, Sylvosh laughs at the pedestrians who scream and run out of the way. With the top down, the cool morning air rustles through his untidy dark hair. Turning a sharp corner, he slams into an SUV and has just enough time to realize that he didn't put on a seatbelt before being thrown from the box of crashing metal.

Sylvosh, relying on instinct alone, hits the ground running. He doesn't even notice how impossible a feat he has performed. Without a care, he runs down the alley that just happens to be there and emerges on a more familiar and more traveled street. He looks around him to get his bearings. The first thing he notices is the bank across the street. His mind leaps at the possibility. After all, an invincible bank robber would sure be a fun occupation.

The sting on his lip reminds him of the long over-smoked joint and he spits out the last bit of burning paper. To his left and right are buildings also, and perhaps, he muses to himself, they could compete with a bank for fun. On his left, the Caffine-a-rama dulls his senses as he knows they have nothing of interest. On his right, the movie theater also presents no interesting opportunities. He decides that the bank is the choice and starts to walk to it.

As he gets to the street, a glimpse of red from his peripheral vision draws his attention like that of a bull. He turns left and watches a gorgeous woman leave the coffee-shop and give herself a once-over. That petite raven doesn't know what great luck she's got today.

Realizing that he is a powerful being, he follows the dark haired woman in the bright jacket. Shorty, he calls her in his demented head. He watches Shorty and follows her as she walks six blocks to a large office building. When she enters the building, he follows her inside and sees which floor she chooses on the elevator. Smiling, he knows that he'll be back tomorrow. Of course, by then, he'll have a shit-load of money from that inviting bank a few blocks down the street.

“Lets get out of here guys!” The young men run off, leaving Jason on the ground with his ruined bike.

Wondering what had just happened, Jason stands up and looks down at his bike. “What the hell is going on?” He thought to himself as he ran his hand over his head where the Batt hit. “Why didn’t I feel that?”

Jason looked around. “I can’t ride my bike, so I guess I got to walk…” Jason let out a loud sigh as he started to walk down the road. “I wish I could teleport myself to the pool, because my coach will have my balls fort being late again… Whoa!?” A blue kind cloud started to appear around Jason, only for a second, before the cloud disappeared.

Jason looked around, and he was shocked at what he saw. “The pool!?”

Tania pushed papers around her desk for about a couple of hours, then decided it was time for a break. She wasn't the boss or anything, but she was high up on the food chain. Her work was always on time and she had no complaints, so she pretty much did what she wanted.

She felt a little daring and decided to try the new Thai restaurant, only when she got there, she realized she was low on cash, again. Stamping her foot on the ground, she shoved her wallet back into her purse and walked the 6 blocks to the bank.

She had forgoten her card at home, so Tania had to stand in the long line. She was bored out of her mind and wished something exciting would happen.

Kelly sadly looked at her herb garden. Some big animal had trampled right over her fence and right through her plants. She sighed bending down on one knee and lightly touching a smashed plant. Shaking her head she wished that her herbs would just grow back miraculously, but that wouldn't be happing any time soon. Frowning slightly she stood up and went inside for a cup of tea. She was pouring it when something outside caught her eye. She glanced out the window then glanced out again and stared. Her herb garden was back, more then back it was flourishing. Every herb she had ever planted and some she hadn't had grown back and then some. She dropped her cup of tea unheeded to the ground and hurried outside. "How in the world..." she took a deep breath the air filled with delicious scents. Shaking her head in disbelief she touched a plant just to make sure it was real. It was. The dream crept of it's on accord back to the front of her mind. Could it....? Impossibe... right?

Sylvosh:

Still the truth isn't set in. Sylvosh spends most of the morning trying to make plans to rob the bank. His mind is cluttered with the illusion of himself, as a millionaire, courting Shorty who would fall madly in love with him. Drinking the last of the coffee, he gets up from the Caffine-a-rama table and leaves the building, crossing the street.

As he moves through the rotating doors of the bank, he is no longer wearing trashy clothes, but is wearing the traditional garb of bank robbers. In all black, he pushes through the inside of the door and marvels at the sudden gasp echoing through the lines of customers and the clerks. He turns in time to watch a security guard push an emergency button on the wall and grab his pistol from the belt.

Shaking his head, Sylvosh just mutters a negative response. The reaction to the small grunt is the sudden stop of the guard; who, by all witness accounts, had run face-first into an invisible wall. Then, the pistol slides right to Sylvosh's feet where the small man could pick it up.

Smiling a crude set of teeth, Sylvosh yells to all of the bank customers, "Down on the fuggin ground! RIGHT NOW!" He pulls the pistol over his head and shoots into the ceiling to emphasize his point.

“Jason, how are you this morning?” Came a voice from behind Jason.

“I’m a great thanks, Jon. How about you?” Jason replayed as he started to walk into the men’s changing rooms.

“Good, listen, there’s no swimming today, I got to close up earlier. I tried to ring you, but you had already left home.”

“Oh ok, it’s cool. I got some things to do,” Jason looks down at his watch. “Can I use the bathroom?”

“Sure, I got some things to put away, I’ll see you on Wednesday.”

“Thanks, see you later, Jon.” Jason walks into the men’s changing room and sits down. “The dream, but can I really be a… God?” He wonders as he looks up at the roof. “If I am, I can do as I please…”

Standing up, Jason sways his arm out to his right, and points to the Shower there; and wham, it turns on! “Hot damn!” He clicks his fingers, and the water turns off. “Cool!”

Jason walks over to the door and looks out. It was a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky. “We need some rain.”

Bang! Came a loud roar from behind Jason. As he goes out the front to inveterate, he sees a dark storm just above.

“I am a God!”

Ten minutes into the test his head hit the desk. A loud thump that a few beside him noticed, made a quick shhh sound, before going back to their own work.
He woke up with a start. His eyes down on his paper. He gave it a curious look, realizing he had been asleep for ten minutes. The test already well underway. For this little stunt he was about to curse himself, but something caught his eye.
The test.
Under name he had written: God.
What?
He smiled, yeah right.
Erasing the little typo, he wrote down Harry and moved on to the test.
C, D, A, B, B, D....
He glanced up, looking back at the test. He hadn't even read any questions. The pencil circled the letters before he even read anything.
Harry looked at the questions, and then back at his answers. They were all right, every single one of them.
What in the world?
Back to the answers, C, (right) B (right) D (right).
He finished the entire thing within ten minutes, getting up before every one. He hadn't even turned the page on the test, and it was a booklet. Every single answer was right though, he just knew it.
An a plus.
But how?
He didn't care. All he knew, was that there was a bed and blankets and a pillow waiting for him at home...
He didn't hesitate to leave.

Tania had just began to chew on her third nail when she heard screams comming from around her. Glancing over her shoulder, she realized the bank was being robbed. It wasnt what she had in mind about some excitement, but it would have to do. She got on the ground like everyone else, but it wasnt until she was spread out that she realized her purse was right in the path of the would-be bank robber.

Sylvosh:

The flaking ceiling pane snowing to the ground distracts Sylvosh for a moment. Then, he realizes that he's robbing the bank and thinks that the clerks behind the counter may be a good place to start getting money. Picking a path between two lines of people laying prone, Sylvosh starts walking toward the counter. He looks at the clerk in front of him, shivering with fear.

Smiling ever so widely, Sylvosh takes a few more steps before his inattentiveness costs him his footing. Twisting his feet within a rogue purse string, he falls to the ground a few feet from a staring woman. Shorty. Immediately, the young man forgets that he's here to rob a bank and also forgets his calm outlook on life. Trying to impress Shorty, he casually brushes off the purse and hands it back to her. "I ... uh ... Sorry to bother you. Would you... uh ... You're my helper. Do what I say and nobody gets hurt."

Although Sylvosh is no longer as cool and able to hold his own, he only fears a let-down. So, the not so sly thief tells Shorty to get cash from the clerks.

”No, this must be a dream or something?” Jason looks back into the pool, to see no sign of Jon. ”Why me?”

”Can’t somebody explain to e what’s going on?” Jason thinks.

”Remember the dream…” comes a voice in Jason’s head.

He had a feeling that dream was real, ad that he is now a God.

Looking down at his feet, he ponders what to do for the day. ”I know.” He thinks, as he looks up with a smile.

The blue kind of cloud appears around him, and he teleports.

“Hello. Ben.” Jason says as he sneaks up behind the young men.

Turning with surprise, and a scared look on his face, Ben looks at Jason with wide eyes. “How the h… hell did you get here?”

“That is not important. I wanted to return your bat, oh and if you try and do that to me again, you’ll be lucky to walk away; if you get my meaning.”

“Yes, Jason, just eave me alone!”

“As you wish.” With that, Jason teleports out of Ben’s room, leaving Ben trembling with fear

First, Tania was amazed at how stupid she was about dropping her purse. Then she realized she could end up dead if she didn't do what he said. That thought actually didn't scare her, much to her surprise.

Getting up, she brushed the dust off her clothes. Straightening her back, she walked over to the nearest teller. The clip clip of her heals hitting the tiled floor echoed throughout the bank. Glancing back, she saw the armed man wave his gun in her direction and nod his head in approval.

"Just give me the money"she said, her teeth clenched. The teller behind the glass looked as though he would pee his pants. "Come on" she hissed. "He'll kill you too". Slowly the teller got moving and started to pile the money on the counter.

"You guys, over there" she called to the other tellers. "Do the same thing."

The others began to empty out their drawers. The armed man smiled and raced over to the first window. After shoving a paper bag under the slit, he ordered the teller to fill it, then pass it on. Tania took a few steps back away from the man. Something about him called to her, yet she couldn't understand what it was. She remembered her purse and turned around to pick it up, then realized the man still had it clutched in his hand.

Sylvosh:

Smiling and realizing that he's in control, Slyvosh almost gives Shorty the purse. Then, he hears an audible screaming of sirens converging on the bank. Realizing his opportunity to create more mayhem, he grabs Shorty's arm and looks her right in they eyes. "You're coming with me."

Sylvosh drags Shorty to the front of the bank and turns around. "Have a fuggin wonderful day." He opens the door to a bright day and pulls Shorty outside to help him look at the dozen police cruisers. In an aside to Shorty, he asks, "What is this? A parade for us?"

Tania didn't particularly like being ignored. When she held out her hand for the purse, the guy just looked at her like she was nothing. She didnt much like it when he grabbed her arm either.

Frowing, she shuffled along with him as he headed for the doors. Once outside, the bright light caused Tania to shy away her face for a moment, and didn't realize they had been surounded until he made a coment.

Tania looked around her at all the police cars, the points of guns aimed in her direction. Glancing over her shoulder, she sees the guy isnt one bit freaked out by all this. Well to hell with him! She was scared.

"Hey, listen. I know you want to just get out of here. I'm not the right person for that. I don't have a car nearby, I have no money and no one will give you any ransom for me."

Slyvosh:

Realizing that Shorty is becoming a bit too frantic, Slyvosh tries to comfort her. "Look, this'll all work out as long as you cooperate. Just don't do anything stupid and we'll be okay."

Pushing her forward, Sylvosh approaches the nearest police cruiser and waves the policeman back. He creeps away from the car as he talks to Sylvosh, trying to reason with Sylvosh. Finally, at the cruiser, Sylosh opens the rear door and tells Shorty to get in.

"Get in?" Tania repeats. "Damn." Bending her head, she gets into the car and sits down hard on the bench. "Ow..." Rubbing her ass she scowls at the guy, sticking out her tounge.

"At least give me back my purse."

Sylvosh:

Sylvosh tosses Shorty her purse and slams the door shut. After all, there's no use in letting her know he's got the hots for her. A few cracking sounds draws his attention from the car. The police officers, after yelling their orders finally give up on the possibility that he'll drop the gun and release the girl. They are firing at him.

The last bit of the buzz wearing off, the last thing Sylvosh wants to think about is the thought of these morons shooting at him. Slowly, he gets into the car and starts it never thinking to check for keys in the ignition. This super-power thing sure is fun. Tuning the mirrors, he drops the car into reverse. "Hold on, Shorty."

Once again, with no regards to seatbelt laws, he accelerates, driving into the cruiser behind him. Then, he pushes the car back into drive and guns it. Using the rear-view mirror, he inspects Shorty through the protective partition separating the front and rear halves of the police cruiser. Laughing to himself, he thinks that he'd like to listen to some tunes. With that, he pushes the two small switches from the down position to the up position. Suddenly, they are under a disco light show and the loud siren of the car penetrates the closed windows. "Having fun back there?"
