The Wall Street rich are being forced to pay their fair share of taxes... oh noes!

So eight years. Been a while it seems. . .how many busineses do you think have posted losses that long and are still around?
How many businesses do you think can actually run a country's national defense, NASA-level R&D, and national infrastructure?

C'mon, I know you know of a company that can do that...

I'm sure Halliburton could run one of the smaller countries. :D

But all joking aside didn't we JUST elect a man (with my vote for all it counted) with no truly measurable business experience to do just that? If you think that experienced people can not handle this plan then I don't see how you could have faith in those without experience.

Yes, and the way they supply, care for and provide armor for those troops, hell, an army of angry liberals could come and knock that army over. :D

Experience is not everything. If you're experienced in fleecing the populace and pursuing a trickle-down worldview that is ultimately a failed philosophy, then even a novice who pursues another angle might take the country in a better direction.

Obama is surrounding himself with people who know stuff. I mean, the dude held Robert Gates over, for God's sake. He's new but he isn't an idiot.

Look at what we got after 8 years of experience under Bush...

Does cheating on taxes count in terms of "fleecing the populace"?
Other than Paul Krugman, Mr. "9/11 will be good for the economy," you won't find too many people who think taking $800 billion out of the economy will be a good way to stimulate the economy.
Yet that's the kind of business acumen we have running things and spending our money.

Oh yes, Clinton had a lot to do with the economy. Lots of people found jobs at Wall Mart! Sorry low paying jobs. The boom in high tech had nothing to do with Clinton.

The best thing about your type of thinking is that you are here, and unable to do real damage in the real world.

Bill Clinton?

The tech boom was partially the result of Al Gore providing funding for the Internet. Guess who was vice president at the time Clinton was in office?

I run a credit union data center. I came within a hair of running financial services, too. I co-own an insurance business. I also voted. I damage your cause by being a more ethical employer and by helping to make Obama president.

You were saying?

AIG - $140 billion in tax payer money

Oh my, if I followed your logic that means that Clinton was responsible for 18% mortgage rate when Carter was in office.
