The Walking Dead

I thought Rick told everyone in the last episode of Season 2, and they were all mad at him for sitting on that bit of CDC info. Did I dream that?

You should have already found out about it by the time Rick killed Shane. Maybe you missed an episode?

Don't think so. We're nursing season two though, I'm pretty sure when we finally watch the last one ALL WILL BE REVEALED.

Nope, that sounds right.

But he had to have virus in his system before coming back. Otherwise all the dead they found in their cars on the highway would be walkers too right?

It's also possible that there's been a mutation: that the non-bitten dead weren't originally coming back to life, but started doing so at some point. That point had to have been pretty early on, though, because the guy at the CDC knew about it, and that was way before we saw it happen to Shane or the guy in the woods who hanged himself only to become a zombie.

Yup, I looked it up, and you're right. I must have been really WTFing when Shane zombified. It's revealed in the season two finale. Sorry if I spoiled it for you.

That guy in the woods could have been bitten.

Is the series actually good? I have seen bits and pieces and am no sold. To be clear, I absolutely love the comic series. I was stoked when the series was announced and I first saw promos for it. Since then I have not been able to get interested. So, I was just wondering if I should make the effort to get completely caught up?

We were spinning our wheels trying to figure out what happened with him "did they bite his feet while he was trying to choke himself?" (But yes, as blobfish said he could have been bitten before.)

No apologies. I was asking, nothing spoiled.

Naw, it sucks. Worst show on television.

No, they noticed he hadn't been bitten, and couldn't explain how he had turned. That was their first hint (I can't remember if Rick was there or not) that there might be something else going on.

You mean the one that Daryl shot with his crossbow? I'm pretty sure that one was bitten.

I've never even seen that show before tonight and I was still a sobbing mess.

That poor little boy.

Best line of the last episode, yelling at Glenn in the guard tower.

"Are you coming?!"

Then Maggie came out, and swallowed hard.

I still wanted the baby to die and become zombified and eat her from inside.

I think Rick is about to become a real dark and ruthless motherfucker. Possibly worse then the gov

Agree, Rick will no longer be "Mr Nice Guy". My wife and I both teared up when Lori died. Even though we both hated her:D

And loosing T-Dog sucked too. Wonder what happened to Carol?

I think Rick bitched out at the end.

He chose to roll around on the floor crying like a schoolgirl, rather than consoling his son.

Carl could probably kick his ass. He's going to get that little chicky, and I can't blame her. Were I a "tween" girl, he'd probably send a tingle up my thigh.

He shunned his wife, and deliberately distanced himself from her to avoid discussing thier child and whatever Shanes role may been with it

and now she' dead, and he never gets to console that, plus he has to live with knowing that he didnt even try consoling with her,,, while he still clearly loved her

Rick is going to be absolutely fubar ...untill the Governor shows up

that all depend if they go the route of the comic more..which they touched on already

the Gov chops off Ricks hand and tortures and rapes Michonne... not to mention the Governor's " daughter", she's only been mentioned, I wonder if they'll keep that accurate too

I know, but I think it will be merle who takes ricks hand and rapes michonne. The governor will assist I'm sure

I flat-out cried during the final scene. The Lori farewell to her son and him ending her had me on the edge but when Maggie came out with the baby plus the way Rick (Andrew) reacted, oh yeah, that hit me hard. Perfection from all those in involved, cast and crew.
