It's not about staying "accurate." The producers have made it very clear they don't regard the series as a mere remake of the comic, though we've seen enough to realize the Governor is a villain.

It was a great shows for sure..... Gotta love a show that kills off its stars....
 
T Dog must be the most thankful actor in all of Hollywood. He got 2 1/3 seasons from a throwaway character that could have and probably should have been killed in the first couple episodes.

I didn't expect it to be scar-for-scar, but some of the segueing from the comic's base is a little off-putting. There's some good character development in the comic that, although good for reading drama in panel form, would've been sweet to see transitioned live in the show. At least the basic nutshell is being done well, which I should be grateful for.
 
Oh teh no. Lori is dead. She died well though. Now we're down to one whiny blond chick and then we're out of people that I want dead or don't care if they die. FUCK. Someone I like is gonna get fucked over soon.
 
Carol has to be the next throw away. Think about character development. Carol has already put the moves on Daryl, and he rebuffed her. She has no purpose.

Rick and Carl have to deal with Lori's death together. Rick will go on a zombie killing spree like no one has ever seen before. And Carl has the hots for the youngest daughter of Hershel. (can't remember her name)

Hershel has some life left in him. But not much. Since the farm is gone, he's unimportant now.

Glen and Maggie still have a lot of fucking to do:D

Daryl and Merle need to hook up.

Michonne might have the hots for Andria. Did you notice her checking out Andria's boobs?

The gov just got here.

I do find Michonne hot and that would be neat, but Andria flirts with everyone....but Carol has been a throw away from the time she lost her kid.

Exactly... I miss the Dale-Andrea relationship from the comic... but what they've done instead is been awesome
 
Michonne's (I hoped I spelted it corectly) sword practice on the walkers, er, biters, was great. The SO and I DVRed it back a few times, the torso slice was the best.

We also had to watch the Gov rip out a chunk of his biter daughters head a couple of times too.

The Lori engorged walker cracked me up. What a pig. Now that's called eating out a woman.

Did you see the Lori look-a-like serving drinks in Woodbury? The SO wonders if it was one of Sarah Callies sisters getting an extra part.

I was so hoping Maggie and Daryl would find a walker baby or toddler.

I so want a zombie show or movie have a scene were walkers are at the window of a nursery full of infants, and finally break in to feast.

Seems the Gov and Hershel have a few things in common:D

Did anybody watch Talking Dead and hear the comment about Carol? Something about her being dead? And when the host asked about that, he was pretty much blown off by the director.
