The Walking Dead

After reading a short synopsis of the comics it sounds like there's still a lot of time between now and when they come across the Governor. I wonder if they'll condense that since they're already looking to it and the fans are bitching about how slow things are going.

Nah. Those guys they just met are likely from the Governor and the kids either lying or misinformed. Mayor is season 4 at the latest.

Daryl got it out of him... 30 men and the story about some of them raping teen daughters already. One urinated on the floor of that bar, you think they'll be compliant?

Hershel even said he doesn't want that for his daughters.

Call me a shitstain but I was hoping Randall had been shot to death directly in the forehead. Thanks for ruining that, Carl!

Cant believe they killed Dale....although he was becoming a pain in the ass

Tonight's episode

I liked it. I feel like we're back on track now.

Who wants to disagree with me?

Finally got that fucker out of the way and there's super awesome zombie action to come. Too bad they waited until the season is over to really get things going but at least it seems to be in the right direction now.

So happy he is gone, I knew it he has his own show coming out. But they really did not explain how he turned ?!

Tonight's episode had the same kind of intensity that originally drew me to the show.

I am mildly in love with Daryl.

Carl was much less annoying, as was Lori.

T-Dog actually had a few lines.

In some zombie universes everyone turns into a zombie after they die because the virus is in all of us. Romero's is like that. I assume they're doing something similar.

I saw a poll on some site about who they should kill if they're not going to follow the comics and the most popular option was "everyone except Daryl."

Okay. This makes me really, really happy. I hope the producers and writers and the powers that be take note of this.

I'm still convinced his brother is going to show up again. That could make for some Daryl-heavy storylines.

Well the rate they are dropping, ya just never know. I hope Lori goes, and let T-dog speak! Darryl is the best creepy yet sexy character :)

I agree with you. I see it coming down to a choice b/t his brother and Carol. The brother is going to attack Carol, I'm convinced of it. Or I'm full of shit. Either way, I'm looking forward to the brother's return.

Question...in the preview for next week...was that Maggie at the end? And was she about to become zombie chow?

Rick is probably the only one who is guaranteed to live... thinking everyone else is pretty fair game

Hard to tell but it looked like her and we can only hope.

Not a Maggie fan?

I have a problem with the lack of strong female characters. I'd really like to see Carol go all badass. I would much prefer that Lori be taken out before Maggie. At least Maggie seems to have some convictions.

I want to see the father and son from the first episodes make their way to the farm. And I'm surprised that we haven't been introduced to any new characters lately, except for the hostage, and he doesn't really count.

I know we all have different expectations and hopes for the series, but I don't feel like mine are particularly far-fetched

I honestly don't like any of the female characters at this point. They're all either whiny or manipulative. Carol has promise but right now she's background noise. Maggie can be a good character but right now she could go and I wouldn't care a bit.

Shane turned into a zombie pretty quick, I thought the guys at the CDC said it took about nine hours after death to change.

What the fuck was Carl doing out at night all alone again. I nominated Lori for Mother of the Year.

Don't kill off Maggie, she's hawt, have her clothes ripped off by zombies, but she escapes, and runs away naked.

Yeah, where is the father and son from season one? Maybe they'll be in the zombie herd.

So Carl once again is stupid, instead of telling his dad that zombie Shane is behind him, he shoots him, and alerts the zombie herd.

Andrea needs to get naked.

That's okay, I never liked Shane to begin with. Just like I never liked the notion of Peyton Manning going to the Miami Dolphins.

But how dare the rest of you mourn the death of Dale and not Shane.

What's this series without a Shane?

Andrea kicks major zombie ass instead of washing shitstains doing laundry, plus she got Shane to PLEASURE her and not impregnate her like irresponsible Lori.

Also, the chick who portrays Maggie will be on 'The Talking Dead' at Midnight tonight.

But they really did not explain how he turned ?!
Part of it was two episodes ago, when Rick and Shane found the two zombie gaurds w/o any bites or scratches.

Then Randal turned in tonights episode.
From now on, every one who dies is going to have to be burned, or have his/her head shot/stabbed/crushed/removed.

Betcha we seen zombie Dale in the finale!

Dale was shot in the head.

I'm soo relieved that Shane didn't have any zombie-like symptoms after using the same knife to stab a zombie's skull and then slice his hand to smear his own blood on the bus last episode.

From last week.

R.I.P. Shane
