The Walking Dead

I think our Fox commentator got it wrong last night cos they said next week is the mid-season finale. I'm sure you have two more left over there?

Anyway, I'm convinced either Beth or Carol are going to be killed off in that episode, but am thinking Beth. I think Daryl's going easy on folks for now and when one of his bitches gets killed he's going to go mental and on a killing spree. Then Rick will get a major hard-on cos he's still in the blood lust.

That said, I always get it wrong.

No, I think you're right, although there's one other possibility: the actress who plays Sasha is now pregnant. I know they're done filming for the year, but I wonder if that would indicate she got written out of the show at midseason?

She is hardly in the show, at this point. Which could be the result of her prego.

Tomorrow night we will see Daryl on a rescue mission for Carol and Beth. A lot of female TWD fans will maybe need a cigarette after.

Well, unless Carol is killed off. That would ruin the buzz.

Either Beth or Carol dies tomorrow.

Daryl and Carol die, or we are left with the cliffhanger they are dead.

I doubt Carol will die, she's been around since the start and while she might not always get a lot of love (like I cant' name a single thing she did in Season 2, not a single fucking thing.) She's come along way and tends to be one of the more consistently shown characters.

Daryl's plot armor is so fucking thick that he literally shoved his hand in a zombie's mouth and got away with it. Trust me he's gonna live.

Beth on the other hand was all but forgotten for ever. Season 2 she was utterly lost in the shuffle, Season 3 other than singing a bit her biggest accomplishment was losing her father. Season 4 she got to drink, train up a bit, Season 5 all of a sudden she gets multiple spotlight episodes? I'm telling you the writers are building her so that you care when she dies. That was a major problem in Season One with it being so short that we didn't really care about any of the characters.

T-Dogg kinda suffered the same thing, he magically got some camera time in Season 3 after Season 2 basically reducing him to a prop.

I hope they don't kill off Carol...she has developed her character very well. Hate to see her gone. She was an abused wife, etc. etc., now she is a leader and a Walker Killer! Beth is the obvious to die, but I'm betting she wont and the sisters will reuinite...should be a touching scene. Also, please dont kill off Rosita, keep the lesbian, and leave Daryl alone.

Cliffhanger, yes.

I like Sean's remark about plot armor. Norman Reedus has it in spades.

Damn right he does.

Once a zombie bit Daryl and after six agonizing days he took pity on it and ripped off his head.

Daryl's tears can cure the virus, unfortunately he's too manly to cry.

Daryl lost his virginity before his father.

I agree with all of this, but there must be heightened peril for the midseason finale. Hopefully the priest bites the dust, but we don't care about him enough for it to matter. And what about the Eugene plot line? Where's that headed. Maybe Maggie or Glen end up in grave danger...the sister reunion would be threatened if Maggie were threatened.

I've given up on season finales rocking my world....especially mid-season. Its a great show, that is enough to get me back...

It's gonna be Carol or Beth I'm think. Going with the latter. They've built that character up to tear her down I'm sure.

I'm going into a cocoon now to avoid spoilers til tomorrow night. Spaceboy do not text me ANYTHING about the finale or I will send you pictures of Shane naked and people getting their eyes plucked out by ravens.
