The Walking Dead

Good luck with that. You won't survive long on your own. Not that anybody survives long in a Zombie Apocalypse. You can count the stories with long term survivors on one hand.

You need a team.

Its tougher than one might think. No medicine, no food really unless you scavange for it, everything is shut down, electric, air conditioning, etc. Gas, etc. Plus, Zombies are everywhere and your life is in danger 24/7

And what undead monster can't come out during the day?

I havent seen that movie in a long time. Ironically I went as the Omega Man for halloween once....not my idea. Not sure....days were safe, but at night, the Omega man was out in the streets....good 70's movie. Check out Soylent Green, another good one

It is, but without a team it also kinda means no sleep. Having to watch your own back in a world filled with predators. It's not a mistake that even most apes live in units. Having more than one pair of eyes is GREAT.

And that's without having any real idea of how quickly the wildlife would bounce back without humans holding them in check. From what I've read wild dogs would spread really really quickly in that kind of scenario.

LoL. I've never seen Soylent Green only heard it referenced. A LOT.

If only we knew out to fool Zombies with soylent Green then we could all get along!

The Governor episode was a bit dull. I was hoping Daryl would totally wig out after finding Carol banned from the group and all his clothes would fall off in temper. Maybe next episode. :(

I still miss Shane.

All good people miss Shane.

Daryl's chicken butt can keep his clothing on.

The the Governor is back for bonus rounds! After burning two episodes with lookie I got a new army.

I'm glad he came back now really. I thought they might do a cheesy big return for the mid-season finale.

I had to do amarathon after getting back from the honeymoon

I followed the graphic novels for ages... but the series officially departed from the comics entirely at the end of the third season

well..untill I saw the tank at the prison

The Comic and the TV series only kinda sorta follow each other there have been big discrepancies from the get go an dsome of them are things the original writer realized were stupid like Rick losing a hand.

could still happen... after all they cut off Herschel's leg

Doubtful. Like I said the writer admits that was kinda silly, and as they found out with Meryl hiding a fake hand is a lot harder than a fake leg.

plus, the comics were alot more bloody and gruesome then the show...there's only some much shock an audience can take... i think doing that to Rick might cross a line

I think the term you're looking for is juvenile.

Wot? O.O I can't think of another term I would use for nailing a guys dick to a 2x4 other than juvenile. That's not to say it's not funny, I love Axe Cop and other entertainment that was clearly written by sixteen year old men with nine year old boys in mind.

he also did constantly rape Michonne.. and a society without law and a personality as unstable as Michonne's ( who is pretty much sweetness and light on TV), i think her version of payback was inevitable

if you're batshit crazy and are beaten and raped for days on end.. and when you did escape and were given a chance to wreak vengence on your assailant with absolutely no chance of facing incarceration.. wouldnt you want nasty payback?

I get the impression the walkers are having a negative impact on wildlife. They eat voraciously, have no concern for environmental impact, never get tired and seem to be rather relentless in pursuit. And there are millions of them.
Hence the relative scarcity of game seen on the show.

That's possible I suppose. I don't see how they would really track down any small game at all, the idea of a walker catching a rabbit is laughable you know? I guess maybe deer in the wrong situations but they aren't bright so while they could eventually tire a out a deer their chances of loosing interest before that is pretty good.

My assumption is a combination of Daryl being the only person with any hunting skills whatsoever and they really don't seem to be having THAT much trouble gathering food. But maybe.

Even if you aren't caught up the spoilers on here are no worse than what you'd get from watching commercials. So if you're a complete whiner about those kinds of things don't watch it but otherwise it's funny and cute and only five minutes long.

crap!

Sunday is the last one .... when does the next season start?

guessing it will be a cliffhanger ending

No, it's only a mid-season finale. The rest of the season should start up sometime in February.
Of course it'll be a cliffhanger.

guessing that tank is WWII left over as it didn't look like an Abrams? wonder if they have any shells?

one thing that I learned from 'Walking Dead' ... humans are more dangerous then Zombies

how can you trust a stranger in the ZA
