I just hate all those categories. Why can't they just list everybody alphabetically? Honestly, I'm lucky if I know the singer/band/artist/whatever. There's no way I'll be able to say which kind of category of music they make.catalina_francisco said:Hmmmm, I went looking for a couple of music CD's in a major store today and though I looked in all the sections I thought would apply I couldn't find them. I eventually gave u and went and asked one of the shop assistants...he also had a problem finding both artists, but in the end both were found in the section listed as 'Black Music'!! I had bypassed it as one of the artists is actually white though into soul, the other was Alicia Keys which I would have expected to be under popular or contemporary or top/new albums. I would have thought with all the PC around these days you could not get away with creating a music section named "Black Music' into which anyone of colour is placed regardless of style or nationality!!

Yeah, who could forget Them? Or The Incredible Shrinking Man?snowy ciara said:I love it. It's kind of a natural outgrowth since I love the classic B&W science fiction movies. The B er the better.
Ummm... no. It's immaturity and failing/refusing to accept responsibility for their screwups. Can't figure out people who constantly make excuses for themselves and call it "explaining" themselves.
Is that like a low self esteem problem or something?
He'd have lots of pervertables!
Um, it has been pointed out to me that Graceanne was seriously right twice in the last few months, in a major way. So I'm forced to shout it from the rooftops, sort of.
GRACIE WAS RIGHT!

Whatever happened to being right and silly? Why must we be serious with it?Um, it has been pointed out to me that Graceanne was seriously right twice in the last few months, in a major way.
Just remember - when I get in trouble for being TOO silly I'm gonna blame it on you.Whatever happened to being right and silly? Why must we be serious with it?
Bring back silliness!

Too silly? Inconceivable!

We seriously need to implement a Dominant 'Thought for the Day' Calendar in 2008, covering everything from the esoteric to the practical.
There is just so much wisdom falling by the wayside to some degree.
Here is just one practical example across a broad spectrum of potential contributions. It's every other day that something resonates for me and it's often inappropriate to interrupt a thread continuity just to register an 'amen'.
What I suggested in the STOTD thread was next year to just have a 'bdsm thought of the day thread' so that we can include both dominants and submissives, cause I've never seen the sub thought of the day thread finish, and a few years ago their was a dominant thought of the day thread, and it didn't finish either.
Well, now the pressure's on! We have to come up with thoughts... erk!
Sounds like a great idea to me Miss Grace, I for one missed it when you posted initially. General thought thread would most likely be more cohesive.
I'll admit however I have a serious penchant to see the reciprocating sides of the D/s coin remain segregated, there is something to the pathos of it that to me is more alluring ( ie hawt ) : chuckles : Though that's just one opinion, I can go with the flow !
Why on earth can't a few years of STOTD be refreshed / rolled over a singular calender sans extra curricular comments as an entity in itself I wonder.
