My Fiancee's girlfriend on the other hand would love a few days of heavy, settled snow.

the work is fairly easy all things considered... but my boss has a tendancy of making thigs challenging. last minute schedule changes, impossible (or improbable) deadlines, mutually exclusive work ethics.

Had the same problem where I grew up (East Coast) though I do remember that there were times when snow laid on the beach and I have seen photo's of when the sea froze over many, many years ago.

There was plenty of snow falling on the coast this afternoon as I was driving away, though again, not laying.

I was born in a Norfolk seaside village and we used to slide down the snow on the sand dunes .... where do you hale from then?

Hmmm, I have quite a bit of snow. And considering it takes me two hours to get to work via public transport on a GOOD day, I'm worried. Tried to get through to the damned traveline - engaged. Tried to look on national rail - website is so slow it won't even load. I'd love nothing more than to say fuck it, and phone in...but that's not me.

We've got loads 'n' loads of the damn white stuff. Ron had a meeting tonight but it's cancelled although I suppose the main roads are gritted they don't do our side roads. He had to clear a path for me to go and feed the birds this morning.

Well, my boss left for home at lunchtime (he said he had meetings but we all know what that is code for in our office) but made sure the rest of us had plenty to do. Had to dump my car at the end of the road when I got in. Just couldn't get enough grip to climb it. It was like sheet ice.

Not looking forward to a run to Bristol on Wednesday if it keeps up like this.

That's a very insightful way of looking at it. I'm still trying to get my head around the whole BDSM thing, just here exploring and reading at this stage. People have such different ideas about it and they're all so passionate about their own. From an inexperienced perspective, it's all very confusing.

I think it's possible that I'm reading and thinking far too much. I need to lasso me some new manflesh and find out.
