Mines showing signs of impending senility. I get 10 minutes out of the battery and the shift keys stick on meaning I can be half way through a document and then notice that everything is in capital letters :)

Hope you can fix it without significant cost.

Lost most of my Itunes library too:mad:
Got most of it on cd but there were some rare gems! Such is life!
 
Bleh.

Thats why I have everything backed up... twice. I've lost too much valuable data to the gods of corruption to trust any electronic media.
 
Did someone mention iTunes? Eekkkk *backs out of thread* Me and Apple don't mix...despite the fact that ALL the products are so shiny! I cannot be in within 5 feet of an iPod and it NOT go haywire. :rolleyes:

I'm no geek just liked the ipod oops i said it again! Is that like saying mcb the scottish play to thespians?
 
Hi people, hope everyone is well. I have decided to say 'bollocks' to everything and am buggering off to Lille for a few days. I'm going alone so it's a bit exciting. Master needs to work and in truth, we could both do with a little space.

Who's up for a bit of Bastille storming? Good family fun.

JD ~ I know, it can be a nightmare sorting out your passport especially in the peak season!

Lost my 5 year passport in 94:eek:.I was born in Switzerland so getting my birth certificate is a pain. If I had a 5 year pass port surely my details should be on record! Bastards!
 
Well I'm not going till Monday but should be fun.

Good luck with the Passport Nazis, they're all sadists, every last one of them.

Aye, bit of time in France would be nice right about now... alas my ittinerary is Birmingham tomorrow, Birmingham Monday, Canterbury on Tuesday, Birmingham again on wednesday, liverpool (perhaps) on thursday and god knows where they'll send me on friday...

... thats assuming I'm not made redundant tomorrow.

I won;t be, it'll be one of our other consultants I'm sure.

But I'm always apt to panic a bit in these situations.

If they make you redundant, I'll round up a posse of Brit Doms and have them go round brandishing canes and floggers for a little 'chat' with your boss. :D

Who is your publisher and is your book available in the shops? I know 2 writers now! You and Martin Millar. And ive spoken to Iain Banks and Irvine welsh a few times. Go girl!
