So Trump's brand is, "Trump" As a President/ex-President, will he be able to enforce that brand? For example, if I wanted to open the "Trump Dump" and bury toxic waste, could the Trump Companies sue me for trademark infringement?

I'm sure we have some graduates of Cooter's Lube and Law School on here practicing trademark law that could opine.

You could legally change your name to Trump then no problem. Or do like Coming to America and call it MacDonalds instead of McDonalds and use the Golden Arcs.

The Companies Donald Trump Owns

Before becoming the President of the United States, Donald Trump was one of the most well-known real estate moguls in the world, and thanks to years of making lucrative deals, he has amassed a net worth estimated to be $3.5 billion. The Trump Organization LLC acts as the primary holding company for Trump's array of companies and is his main source of wealth.

Many of Trump's businesses have flown under the radar. Indeed, Trump has full or partial ownership of approximately 500 companies in the United States alone. Many of these companies focus their efforts on developing Trump's real estate ventures abroad, although they are headquartered in the U.S.

They taught googlizing at Cooter's!

you can use a President’s name in a trademark sense – even without authorization! While U.S. trademark law precludes the registration of any trademarks that bear another’s name without their permission or authorization,[3] to the extent you seek to market your goods and services to the consuming public by using a living POTUS’ name or image, to the extent this mark is not likely to confuse with existing marks and operates to distinguish your goods or services from your competitors – congratulations, you have an enforceable trademark.

I'm just a googlin' cooter. :)

Trump Borscht pairs well with Trump Wine and a nice Trump Steak.

I'm gonna be rich!

They'll be pickin that pig at Dixie's Diner. (Not to be confused with Dixon's Diner. DCL has the bestest lawyers.)

I really thought you'd latch on to the Russian theme.

Too subtle. That's what women always say about me.
