Well good folks, Sunday I'm off on another exploration of the terra ignota in the vast openest of our great American west. Our main interest will be a month long exploration of old American Indian trails and village sites based on a collection of historical writings, military maps, and Army expedition reports. We'll start at Fort Robinson in western Nebraska and continue West across the southern half of Wyoming towards South Pass and then turn North for Pinedale and the Wind River range to immerse ourselves in the history of the general area. Hopefully I'll have enough time to visit a site I missed a couple of years ago in the Unita Mountains south of Fort Bridger before heading for home. Should be lots of beautiful photographic opportunities along the way as well. I should be back to pester Algo and the rest of the left by the end of October or early November. Enjoy the respite.
