Tonight the vixen and I went to see the Fabulous Thunderbirds, George Thorogood, and...B.B. King.

Yeah, it was fuckin' good.

His facial expressions alone were worth the price of admission.

76 yrs. old and he still wails, and his voice sounds strong as ever. I loved every minute.

He's in Burger King ads, but actually can't eat at Burger King because he's diabetic.

i met B.B. King once. he was kind, gracious and real.

I had the pleasure of seeing him several years in a row at the Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl.

I might miss the Bowl more. It's just so fucking incredible. He's great too, but sitting in the theater at the Bowl and looking up, seeing yourself surrounded by nature in the middle of L.A. is pretty fucking awesome too.

The man plays a mean axe. Although, with George and Jimmy Vaughn the place must have been pretty lick heavy.

you bastard. now i want to listen to B.B., but i don't have any of his stuff here.

To be honest I mispoke when I said we saw the Fab T-birds because we missed them (tonight was the first night of school), but I caught about half of Thorogood. He was okay- played Bad to the bone and a few other songs, but him and his band seemed a little tired.

B.B. was awesome, and his band was tight and clean...he had an eight man band and they all kicked ass, in fact they played for about fifteen minutes before b.b. came out and they were great.

So he's showing no ill effects from falling from the sky into that barn?

Man, whatever happened to the great backing bands? The Motown crew, Booker T and the Mg's, James Brown. Now all we have are competent musicians who probably got the gig cause they're fun to party with.
