We have been hearing "Clean the Swamp" for a long time. But what does it mean? I know it doesn't mean the actual swamp land of that area. I always thought it meant the lobbyists and the government officials they bribed to get what they wanted. But part of Trump's campaign was to clean the swamp. If the White House is making things easier for the lobbyists, then what did Trump mean by "clean the swamp"?

The swamp to be drained contained scientists, analysts, policy wonks, experts in minute details, experienced mid-level administrators, anyone who know how or why gov't works. They're replaced by lobbyists, self-proclaimed billionaires, and paid-up Mar-e-Lago members. Read-em and weep.
