Has anyone read the book "The Surrendered Wife"?

I just read the first two chapters online www.surrenderedwife.com and it gave me the hornies.

It's basically a cookbook of D/s ideas for sub women.

What do y'all think?

i read through the first two chapters available and it is an interesting way of looking at things if you are approaching marriage from a vanilla standpoint. However, i don't believe adopting the strategy will ensure a closer, happier marriage -- that truly is up to the parties involved. i do like the idea behind the tactics even if they seem a tad manipulative. Seems like an interesting book.

... that the author is manipulative or that she is encouraging women to be manipulative (or both)? I think I could agree with both, actually.

I was thinking of using it in a couple that plays at D/s or is serious about D/s but not necessarily full time. It just seemed like a fun way of being submissive. In this mode, both would be going into it knowing that the wife is choosing to be submissive, not that she is required by her basic womanhood to be submissive.

As I said, reading it gave me the hornies.

If it were used as a mechanism for developing a closer happier marriage, it would at best be a tool.

It would probably help a wife who had a problem being too controlling and wanted to help herself get out of it. Even then, I think it would be a temporary thing.
