"In the recesses of the internet where some of Donald Trump’s most fervent supporters stoke conspiracies and plot his return to the White House, suspected con artists have been mining their disappointment over the last presidential election for gold.

They’ve been peddling “Trump Bucks,” which are emblazoned with photos of the former president, and advertising them online as a kind of golden ticket that will help propel Trump’s 2024 bid and make the “real patriots” who support him rich when cashed in.

John Amann told NBC News he bought $2,200 worth of Trump Bucks and other items over the past year only to discover they were worthless when he tried to cash them in at his local bank. So he’s gone on Twitter to warn other Trump supporters not to fall for this scam."

How about this woman demanding to pay for her purchase with the left-wing figment of reparations? AKA Commie Bucks.

No former disgraced president is peddling "reparations" for profit.

Is that really so hard for you to differentiate the two?
Tell it to the idiots who think they can use "reparations" to pay for commercial goods. Those selling "Trump Bucks" have nothing to do with Donald Trump, they are Internet scammers:

"Internet scammers are reportedly pushing "Trump Bucks" online, which display pictures of the former president and promise MAGA supporters big profits.0 Colorado-based companies Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future, and USA Patriots have been advertising products with Trump's likeness, including black $10,000 "Trump Bucks" sold for $99.99, which they claim could be redeemed as legal tender at most banks, including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo. The items include coins, checks, and membership cards, and are sold alongside "Trump Rebate Banking System" handbooks, which the companies claim are "official documents" that allow the items to be used. One Trump supporter claimed to spend $2,200 on the items before warning others on Twitter about the scam."

Of course, you'd fall for it being Trump doing it.

We're making fun of the idiots buying them, you moron.

Although if Trump wasn't still pushing his election lies, it would probably be harder to scan people.

It has everything to do with him. His name, his image.

Has he even bothered to show up for and protect his constituency by publicly denouncing the scam? He's clearly no stranger to social media.

Your party. Your people. Own your shit with your collective and take the L. :ROFLMAO:

It would be pretty funny if it was Libtards bringing trump bucks to the trailer park and making coin off the compliant meth heads.

I'm impressed by people who have put in time to scam these people. You have to see it through to the end for it to pay off, but if you put in the effort, it clearly pays.

I remember this one college-age Black girl on social media a few years ago during the tail end of Cheeto's tenure who claimed she was MAGA and her family was going to disown her and kick her out the house. It was over several months that she crafted this story and just kept ratcheting it up, bit by bit every week, detailing how worse it was getting for her and how she needed funds to move and relocate. Complete with video and everything. She put in honest work on this scam and made it really believable and didn't break character, just kept feeding exactly what right wing MAGA bigots like hearing. Got lots of donations. At the end of the grift, she made out with enough to like, either buy a car or fund a new semester of college...I forget exactly what. But she came clean on the last day and then did the smart thing, ended the fundraising and then totally ghosted with the bank. It was amazing.

They thought they had their next Candace Owens.

I respect that grift.
