It exists in those places where you want to connect with someone on some level and yet they hold you at arms length. It arises between friends and loved ones the moment a forbidden subject is brought up. The strange quiet is a wall; sometimes it does not do well to bite your tongue.

I don't go plungin' cornholes and getting vinareal diseases, even breathen the same air as you people is playin russian rulette.

Quiet time..

That perfect sphere you create between the physical world, you and your god.
The rushing silence penetrated by only what you allow in, and your space witnessed by only those that you choose to observe it.
Some drift in their spheres for minutes, hours, days, and in some cases forever.
The quiet time is an escape from the noise of conformity and chaos that exists around us, a temporary state in the silence of death.

Sometiimes a simple, "Shut the Fuck up!" works. :D

to me... that time is actually a time of day.

it is somewhere between 3 and 4 am.

when all the world seems to be asleep except for you.

outside is so still.

so quiet.

the world is asleep.

You are very welcome mr. mean spirited
foul mouthed knob. :)

"When one is troubled
Silence is not peace
But words unspoken"

I detest that kind of silence.

Yet I love peaceful silence, the early hours of the morn;
just before the birds arise and chirp their cheery little hearts
out. :rose:

I'm increasingly curious about your education. Where did you study Thomas Jefferson?
