Last night, a woman knocked over an end-display and broke 6 bottles of wine. She apologized over her shoulder and kept walking.

Now let's hear your story.

And Walking through the Produce

She picked up some Lemons to go with the Jose Cuervo under her jacket

Outside
I tried to act Cool:cool:

There are those who go to Wallyhell and drop their children off in the toy department before they go shopping for an hour or two. Elsewhere.

Who was she apologizing to, the air?

At a gas station last year, a guy didn't get the hose in correctly and about 5 gallons of gas spread all around the pumps while he was washing his windshield. The guy took off, leaving me in fumes and the only one to warn the station.

Sombody scraped the back of my new car. The one I'll be paying for over the next five years. And they didn't even leave me a note.

That's just shittty.

:(

Shitty, very shitty.

I applied for two jobs last week. I was offered both. Seeing as how one was second shift (or thereabouts) and the other was third shift, I figured I could work a feasible schedule between the two.

WRONG!

The second shift job's manager wouldn't work out a schedule, and he actually had the gall to suggest that I "bust ass to finish with your shit so you can get to the other job on time". I told him to find a new dishwasher.

I get home, and I have a message: the other job I was offered had been filled.

So to recap: I thought I had two jobs, and ended up with none.

Really. I most certainly would have at least hung around for your phone number.:D :p :p

That annoying person who gets into the 10 items or less lane and its obvious she has more then 10.... All the while turning around and asking if I mind because she is in a hurry ... mean while I am standing there with my pint of ice cream slowly melting away

I'm kind of scared of this happening right now. I've been interviewed for two very different jobs, either of which would be good to have. One has a future and the other doesn't. The one that doesn't will callback before the more promising one. So I'm kind of stuck right now *sigh*

There is a simple solution to this one Sabbathstorm, if you get the less inviting one first, take it. If the other one then offers you the position, leave and take that one.

That way you won't end up losing both because you turned down the first. I think that made sense.:p

And I would've gladly taken yours, along with the insurance info.

That makes perfect sense. The problem is the first one is tied in with government, where I have a good history. I'm also on their books for any upcoming vacancies. If I take it and leave, I'll screw myself out of any employment with them in the future.
