The silence from the misinformed is deafening

Remember the pre-war hysteria?

Bush is a warmonger who lusts for blood.

We will kill gazillions of innocent civilians, murder Iraqi children, then eat them.

This will be another Vietnam.

Baghdad will be the next Dresden.

The best we can hope for is a stalemate.

Once the war starts, Al Queda terrorists will avenge the Imperialist Coalition with countless acts of terror.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

As usual, they were wrong. Some of them even wonder why no one takes them seriously.

It's only silent because you have everyone who's pointing out the slaughter on Ignore.

Today, for example, US troops spotted 450 Iraqis walking somewhere near Nasariya and shot 400 of them on the chance they might be faking surrender, then buried them in an open pit.

Yummy!

1. He's not. He's a draft dodger who lusts for votes and money for his friends. War is only a means to an end.

2. I hadn't thought of eating them. A van of Iraqi kids might argue with you about this point. Oh wait, they can't cuz they be dead.

3. "Win the hearts and minds".....familiar, no?

4. I don't know of many reasonable people who thought the camel bound could defeat F-16, 18, 15, etc...

5. Rumsfeld said the war has just started...I tend to agree, including acts of terror. Besides, how long did it take for OK City to follow Waco?

Lance, your ass must hurt a lot.

Its only been ten days. You are making the same mistake that the people who ask why we have not attacked Baghdad yet or why the war progress has slowed down just in a different direction.

PC, no matter how often you lie there after she's gone to sleep, furtively stroking and fantasizing about getting out of Hazzard County and taking me hard up the pooper while you gobble Miles....I just don't feel it.

Sorry.

You're confused Lancie. I was speaking of all the times you have to reach into your ass to yank stuff out of it.

Must hurt. Owie.

It's just a fantasy, PC. Really. Move on, big guy.

Oh, this is the place to hang out.... Two Domly guys bantering back and forth is MOST entertaining.

I think it'll be a big branch of Israel vs Palestine. What's troubling: too many people want that sort of unending struggle. Easy to enact grand plans.

Ode To My Ass

Men and women alike ...fascinated with my finely sculpted, muscular, assular region.

An ass that can crack walnuts, make straight men jealous, gay men wet and women everywhere fall under my spell.

It's quite a responsibility, actually, to possess a set of glutes holding such power over people.

Remember the pre-war hysteria? ...

Yes, I do.

Saddam has gazillions of WMDs stashed away somewhere, even though no one can find them.

He will kill gazillions of innocent American civilians, while continuing to murder Iraqi children, then take over the rest of the world with his homie, Osama.

There will be another 9/11 every week.

First NYC and the Twin Towers... then your neighborhood Wal-Mart.

The best we can hope for is to suspect everyone.

We need to protect Our Vital Interests and National Security...

Errr ... no, we need to get rid of Saddam's WMDs...

Err ... no, wait, we need to get rid of Saddam....

Err... no, wait a sec ... we need to free the Iraqi people...yeah, that's it!

Are you saying he doesn't have WMD or that we simply haven't found them yet?

Most people who support this war believe that he does in fact have WMD and we (yep, I'm one of 'em) are willing to say so publically. Whereas most people against this war aren't willing to say that he doesn't have WMD, instead they keep pointing out the fact that we haven't found any....yet.

Is this so that when we do find them and we say "told ya so" they can say "hey, I never said he didn't have WMD!"

If you (not meaning you personally) don't believe he has them, then say so. Take a position on this one way or the other.

I was responding to the hysteria created via the Bush administration's Weapons of Mass Distraction.

I don't really give two shits whether he has them or not. I suspect he probably does. We sold them to him, after all.

So, with regard to his having WMD or not, your position is an apathetic definate maybe?

I respect that.

It hasn't been clearly defined as to what a WMD is, but this administration isn't big on clarity so I guess you can find a metal tube in the rubble and say, "See? We told you so, neener, neener." Or being as we're at war, lots of things can turn up in the sand. Of course Bush is on the up and up about everything and wouldn't do something like that.

Is a 747 passenger jet a weapon of mass destruction?

Well, maybe they have their own MacGuyver. He could make a WMD out of a rubberband and popsicle stick.

I thought the UN had defined what they would consider to be a WMD. Or were they just trotting around the desert looking for Waldo?

Sorry, but Bush coined the phrase, without definition.

Go figure...

My definition would be Chem/Bio weapons, not just the tools or materials to make them. If we don't end up finding the actual weapons I'll be dissapointed...in our government.
