This is a thread for people who need to unload a burden or to be a support group for others. Here is where you can share, pour out your heart, or be an encouragement to others.

Many found a home here last time and hopefully, they will find support here again.
Many shared the pains and sorrows of their real lives here. People going through a divorce, death of a lost one, loss of job, really bad days or just wanted to hang out with people that were supportive of one another. Hopefully it will be that again.

Welcome to a place where people care, where they are affectionate known as "Tree Huggers" where they know they can find friends...

I promise you that if you come here with a burden or problem, you will find a group of people that will pray for you, encourage you and offer suggestions. If you don't want that to happen, then I can not promise people will not reach out, because, that is what this place if for... encouragement, support and prayers.

Hey Mary, thanks for popping in and I know you will when you can... you take care hon.

Update on Toni and Her son

Many of you who were regulars at the Tree will remember Tonitits. She was in here all the time and was a very big part of the Tree in supporting, encouraging and caring for many of the people who came here to unload.
A couple of months ago, her son was bit by a insect that they believe gave him a virual infection. It caused him to have seziures and go in and out of comas.
I talked to her on the phone today and her son is out of ICU and he has not had seziures in some time. But he is going to have to through many months of therphy. He is going to have to learn to talk, walk and just about everything all over again. He will be at the Children's hosptial in Dallas for another month or so, and then he will be transferred to the Childrens Hosptial in Baylor.
Her spirits are pretty up but she is going to need more prayers and support. This is going to be a long haul... so I told her I started to Tree back up and she said to say for one.. THANK YOU for all the prayers and TWO... Please keep them coming.

Thanks

Welcome back!

Welcome to the tree. Sit down and enjoy the shade. The son is always here to wash away your fears.

It is a nice place to hang out, share your thoughts and concerns.

Will be keeping Toni and her son in prayers.

Keep my little ones in prayer also, There birth mom was in jail for about 16 months - letters, promises the whole bit. Then gets out - spends 2 hours with them and then we haven't heard from her in a month now. It really hurts these kids. They want to love her so much, yet she continually hurts them.

Love, hugs, kisses

I dont know Tonitits, but will certainly keep her in my thoughts and prayers. It must be a horrible thing to go through

Am thinking of you hun

Spenser, I guess I'm too new here to know about the previous thread, but this is a really great idea. Thanks for starting it up, it shows how you care about people.

I wish Tonitits and her son the best. It sounds like a long road to recovery, one that I am sure will be filled with good and bad. Having a child ill takes its toll on everyone. She is lucky to have friends who are concerned and care.

I sure could have used a thread like this about 2 years ago, nothing tragic in the health sense, just severe issues with teenagers!

Anyway, I will definitely be keeping an eye on this one.

I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers....:rose: times 12 for her and her darlin son.

Smily,
I know this was a major concern for you and it has been proven true. It is sad that some parents do not give a crap about what they do, effects their kids. My dad, after he divorced my mom, used to tell us kids he would come to see us. We would sit on the poarch all day long waiting for him to show up, only to find out, he had other plans or forgot. It does a number on a kids mental state, wondering if they had done something wrong to make their parent not want to see them.
I will be praying for the little ones and glad you are their for them.

Hey JH, thanks for your input. Yea this thread helped and encouraged a lot of people and I did it because I do care about folks. Just glad people wanted it back.
It is not taking off as fast as the first one, in time it will.

I so understand the teen years. I had 3 and one of them got into drugs and serious problems. I know all about the stress, the pulling out your hair, the worrying, the wondering what they are doing... all of it. I know how it feels... so my heart goes out to you.

Thanks for popping in and I know you will be able to help others that will go through it.

Hi folks... as you can see, I finally got a chance to post. However this week has been really crazy for me with work. I will post more this weekend.
Keep the thread going and bumped so others can find it.

You all take care.

Just wanted to give you a bump Spenser...and tell everyone hello!!!! Hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend.:rose:
