Ryan shivered and moaned softly as he waited on Li to adjust. The long minutes of waiting was almost like agony, her tight rear gripping his shaft like a vice. This was his first time breaking in a true virgin like this, so he wasn't fully expecting the mixture of pain and pleasure. It too him deep meditation to remain within Li without moving, letting Li adjust to him, and he to her as well. Even though he had rested up and eaten, the combination of steam, hot water, and waiting were wearing on him.

He grinned for a moment as he felt her grinding back against him, moaning in response. He wasn't about to give up yet, but it was only sheer willpower that kept him from releasing again. When he did give in, it was going to be the last time before needing some actual rest.

His fingers tighten a little around her slender waist, beginning to stroke in and out of her in long, deep strokes. He moaned loudly at the continued combination of pleasure and pain, though the pain was lessening a little. He grinned as he began to thrust faster into her, slowly overcoming the pain mentally.

She knew there would be damaging bruises from his grasp later but she couldn't find room in her pounding heart and body to care at the moment. The firm flow of pelting hot water, his punishing lunges into her resistant dark star and the jangle sparks of nerves being ravaged made for an electrifying mix of senses that made it hard to think.

She wasn't sure how much time passed. She only knew that his fingers fell between her legs, thrummed and tweaked her swollen nub until she couldn't stop her shudders, and wailed in a long scream as she released a flood of her desire down her legs. It shattered her and swept her into a long series of sensational orgasms that left her weak and shaking. Li Hon murmured vaguely in response, smiled softly when she felt his kiss and fell asleep with Ryan's arms around her. She woke up in the darkness before dawn as is her habit and laid there contemplating the comfort she felt in waking with Ryan wrapped around her. Their limbs had crossed and entwined during their sleep and it felt... right. Very right.

It's not as though she has never slept with anyone in the bed with her before. Some of her childhood friends have been very restless sleepers and there have been times that she has had a fist or knee thrown her way as they slept. Yet, this was not like any of those other occasions. This was her first time sleeping with a lover and waking up in his arms after a night's rest. Not only a lover but her best friend, Ryan.

It was... nice.

She ran her fingers lightly over his strong arm. Her touch so light that he didn't even move from the caress. For several minutes, Li Hon just laid still and happily lived in the moment without excess thoughts. Eventually, thoughts did intrude and plans soon followed. Though she wanted to spend what time should could ravishing Ryan's body and have him ravish hers in return, there were some important things that needed to be handled.

Bringing their clasped hands up to her face, she laid a light kiss on the back of Ryan's hand. Then, using the most of her skills of silence and shadow movement, Li Hon left the bed to dress in a simple matching black bra and undies, a short dark blue dress with gathered bodice and flip flops. She took a moment to look fondly at Ryan. An impish grin pulled her bow shaped lips wide. She grabbed spider silk ropes and carefully tied Ryan's hands and feet to the headboard and foot board bars.

Li Hon laughed silently and blew Ryan a playful kiss before slipping out of her suite of rooms. She made her way to the main offices for the senior students and asked to speak with an adviser. She told Nancy Haligan about her current situation and how she no longer had a partner for the Initiation Exam. She shared her fears about looking for a decent partner and how that there may not be sufficient time to find a good match. Most of her age peers were already paired to take the Exams.

Nancy listened closely and asked key questions. In the end, both of them agreed that Li Hon is capable of taking the Exam as a ronin applicant. It's not the usual course of events but not one that is unheard of. It just makes the level of difficulty rise for the participating student. The necessary papers were filled out and a new time for Li Hon's Exam was made.

Happy with the morning's events, Li Hon headed out to the exercise training fields to get her morning workout done. With a clear heart and mind, she lost herself in the martial arts before she headed back to her quarters.

I wonder what Ryan's doing? she thought with a smile.

Ryan slept a deep, dreamless sleep. It had been a little while since he had been so tired, keeping him in a state of catatonic bliss. He didn't wake up until well after Li had left , not yet noticing he had been tied up. It wasn't until he tried to rub the sleep from his eyes. His right hand curled into a little first as he tried to bring it to his face. He frowned, feeling it stop only after an inch. He opened his eyes slowly as he tried once more to move his right hand, then his left.

"What the?"

He lifted his head after his eyes were fully open, looking around carefully. He smirked for a moment as he saw the silk rope tying him to the bedposts.

"Sneaky little....What should I name her for this little escapade.."

He didn't bother moving as he stared up at the ceiling, the shadows flowing over the bed towards his bound limbs. They took but a moment to relax his bonds, leaving him free. Once free, he went through his morning stretching routine to get his blood flowing. He couldn't let her get away with her latest stunt, so he sat in a lotus position on her bed, facing the door.

He gathered the shadows around the doorway, preparing to catch her in a trap as she walked inside.

Li Hon stopped before the door of her rooms and extended her senses. She could tell that Ryan was awake. A wicked smile bloomed on her face and her eyes flashed with withheld humor.

"Ryan! I know you're awake. I have breakfast for us. If you don't agree to a cease fire, no breakfast for you and I'll eat all of it myself!"

Several minutes passed and Li Hon's tummy rumbled about being empty. She opened the brown paper bag with loud crumpling noises, pulled out a steamed bun and took in a loud whiff of the tasty aroma rising from it. "Guess you don't want any breakfast!"

She took a bite out of the bun and made "mmMmMmmm" sounds of enjoyment. Although Ryan didn't have the usual flaws of men, he did love to eat good food. She wondered how long it would take for him to cry peace.

Ryan smirked for a moment when he heard Li's voice call through the door. She was trying, no she was being the tease she always was. Since she wasn't coming in, he moved from the seated lotus to move into the shower. After cleaning himself up, he pulled his clothes back on, pausing at the bedroom door.

He paused at the door, listening to her teasing again. He smirked as he pulled the door open to see her with a sack in one hand and a half-eaten bun.

"I should call you Princess Tease, tease. And you never quit, do you?"

He smirked for a moment as a pair of shadows shot up, taking the sack from her, along with her half-eaten bun. He grabbed the bun for himself, taking a bite from it. He finished it off in another bite, dangling the sack in his other hand in the air.

"Now who needs some breakfast?"

Li Hon released her full grin and laughed when Ryan took the bag and bun out of her hands. She walked into her rooms and closed the door behind her. The move revealed another paper bag hanging from her waist and bumping the tops of her rear delights. She cut the thin string that held the bag up, brought it out front, opened it and grabbed a new bun to munch on.

"That one is actually yours. This one is mine." She smirked with laughter ridden brown eyes. She settled down in the window seat and told Ryan that she's already turned in the forms to do the Initiation Exam as a Ronin. They talked about what they think will happen on their Exams and how their fellow year mates would perform. Li Hon finished up her second steamed bun with a finger licking bites. She sent her bare foot to slide up Ryan's leg slowly.

"Well, Shadow Prince, oh wondrous practice partner, what other sexual acts shall we try out now? Or am I too much for you to handle?"

Ryan frowned a little when Li didn't even try to get the bag back from him. It took all the fun out of the game when Li left him out in the hall, holding the bag in the air. He shook his head for a moment as he dropped the bag holding hand back down by his side.

"You can be a spoilsport at times."

He smirked for a moment before moving to take a seat on the window seat, pulling out another bun. He nodded as they talked, giving her some faith in her skills. He was unsure himself how his exam would go, since he hadn't yet meet his exam partner. He probably wouldn't meet her until the day of the exam.

He gave a laugh for a moment at Li's suggestion of her being too much for him. He reached down and gave Li's foot a playful pinch for a moment.

"If I thought you were too much, then would I be here? Besides, I might have a few things in mind to practice."

He grinned at her before looking into the bag of buns.

"Food is all well and good, but you really gotta have something to wash it down with."

"Of course! How could I ever forget about liquid refreshments? I am a terrible hostess!" Li Hon stuck her tongue out at Ryan and sashayed her way into the kitchen to prepare a pot of Wu Yi tea.

She realized that none of the dishes or food was put away after dinner the night before. Grinning at the memories, she started to dirty dishes into the sink, disposed of the food that sat out too long and started cleaning the kitchen.

As usual, her thoughts ran in circles as she recalled everything she knew about the Initiation Exam. No one was allowed to discuss it. Each exam is tailored to make the students face their worst fear and inadequacies. That little tidbit was the only information that was commonly known.

Taking stance as a Ronin Initiate will make the Exam even more challenging. Most Exams are designed for two students to take in partnership. Without Ryan, Li Hon is on her own.

That should have made her feel uneasy and frightened. Instead, Li Hon felt as though her whole body was alive and she welcomed the inexplicable challenge of it all. There was no doubt. She will succeed no matter the cost.

Ryan chuckled at Li's sarcasm for a moment. As she passed by, he gave her shapely rear a light smack. He knew he could have gotten any woman in the Academy as a partner, but he was more than happy to have Li. He had no fear that he wouldn't be able to pass the test, but he wasn't sure yet what he would be tested on.

Ryan wasn't perfect in his skills by a long shot, but he had proven himself better than anyone else in the Academy. Li, of course, was the closet in skills and ability, always challenging him to be better. Although he hadn't mention it to Li yet, he had thought about continuing to be partners after they graduated from the Academy. After all, there was no rule they couldn't do such a thing.

He munched on a third bun as he watched Li move around the kitchen area, cleaning everything up. She always had a grace and beauty about her in her movements, no matter what she did. His thoughts mulled over how to approach his technique for teaching her more sexual positions. He could do it either of two ways, slow and deliberate, or spontaneously.

"And how long will that tea take?"

He grinned for a moment as he leaned against the archway between the bedroom and kitchen area. He whistled softly at her, the shadows on the floor following her movements. After a little while they began creeping up her slender legs, rippling softly along her flesh. They curved upwards along her inner thighs before bypassing up along her sides.

A warning tingle of awareness stilled Li Hon's actions. Seconds later, she felt gossamer sweep of warmth swirling up her legs and teasing her up her body. Quirking a brow in Ryan's direction, she asked, "Is this your way of saying you're feeling randy? Tea is seeping and ready to drink. Sit down and I'll serve us."

Ryan settled into the same chair as the night before and watched her with salacious eyes and a cocky grin. She placed the pot of Wu Yi tea on a delicate wooden tray and two tea cups. Taking on an air of an older times, she walked with a straight back, seamless small steps and a slightly bowed head. At the table, she set down the tray, poured tea into the cups and raised one cup to her lips. Smiling at Ryan from her dark mischievous eyes, she took a long sip of the tea, leaned down to kiss Ryan and shared the drink.

Pulling back from him, she smiled and asked demurely, "Would you like more?"

Ryan just gave her a grin when she mentioned about him being randy and then asked him to sit down. She had been the one eager to try out a new position or two, so he was just trying to get her into the mood.

He raised an eyebrow for a moment as he watched Li change her stance to straighten herself up a little taller. He thought he recognized the stance, but the exact information escaped him. He just sat back and enjoyed the show.

When she took a long sip of tea, he had expected her to pour him a cup of his own. However, the kiss and exchange of drink suited him just fine. He smiled and licked his lips for a moment after swallowing the warm tea.

"Yes, more would be lovely. It's much better with your added flavoring my shadow princess."

The shadows caressing her slender form moved up further along her soft skin, moving beneath Li's black bra,stroking over her nipples. The shadows pinched the senative nubs, rolling them around for a few moments.

Like a slow measured dance, Li Hon shared several sips of tea and sweet kisses with Ryan until both their minor thirsts were quenched. Shadows soothe and plucked her skin until her whole body came alive in a haze of new found sensuality that he has awakened in her. Standing between Ryan's legs, she pulls away from him in a gradual withdrawal of chest, arms and hands. Teasing his eyes with her own, Li Hon's hips swivel in a rolling gait as she walked away backwards, she paused with one leg behind her, tugged her dress off bit by bit and swung it over her shoulder. She twisted her deceptively delicate upper body and sent Ryan a heated look through a fall of dark hair and over her shoulder.

"Come on, don't you want to play?"

Teasingly flaunting her svelte body, Li Hon walked into the bedroom and started to remove the flimsy cover of her black undergarments.

The drinking ritual Li shared with Ryan was something he never experienced before. The blend of tea, the taste of soft lips, and Li's natural taste was a sweet blend of exotic. He almost didn't want it to end, but like all things, it did come to an end. His fingers had played along her soft skin at the same time as the shadows, enjoying the combination of sensations in play for him.

He frowned a little as Li pulled away from his grip, stepping backwards a little bit. He laid his hands down on his knees as he watched that dress was pulled off slowly, revealing the succulent body to his green eyes. He doubted he would every get tired of the sight. He gave a little grin in response to her question and heated look.

"I always want to play with you , Li."

Ryan rocked back on his heels before standing up from the kneeling position he had taken. Those piercing green eyes never left Li as he followed after her, removing his own shirt and pants. He came up behind her before she was halfway to the bed, his muscular arms wrapping around her slender waist. His erect member pressed between their bodies, his voice soft in her ear.

"I will never get tired of you, my dark princess."

His tongue followed soon after he finished whispering, tracing along the soft curve of her ear. He took the soft flesh between his teeth, nibbling and rolling it between them. His fingers moved from her slender hips to trace over her smooth stomach, the shadows parting beneath his touch. His finger glide softly up along her soft skin, teasingly lightly in long strokes.

His breathe was hot against her skin as he nibbled gently along the slender curve of her neck, inhaling her scent. He smiled and chuckled a little as he felt the response of her body heating up beneath his touch, the sweet moans escaping her lips.

He wanted to make sure she was completely ready for him, otherwise she would kick his ass later, most likely. He turned her around quickly, his lips finding her soft ones. He closed his eyes as he held the kiss, his tongue entwining with hers as they enjoyed the taste of each other. He broke the kiss softly before pushing her back on the bed.

He knelt down in front of the bed, pushing her slender legs apart as he grinned up at her, watching her lust-filled eyes.

"And what do you taste of , shadow princess?"

His tongue found her clit, rolling and flicking it teasingly for several moments before stroking down her slick and wet nether lips. He hmmed as he inhaled of her scent as well.
