Sunday, bloody Sunday...

Happy rainy Sunday!!! It turned off colder, too. Last gasp of winter, we hope.


The coffee is right on time this morning.


We're getting together and going to the gun show later.


I have an interview Monday morning. This one sounds more doable . . . until something else comes along.

Is it a large gun show? Ours are kind of small.

The Interview will . . . not be like the movie.


The show is maybe 800 tables, I think, so I think that makes it medium-sized.


We lost a show venue year before last, so they do them now at the track. Yes, the race track. It's also where the state fair used to be before they moved that several years ago. I always liked the other venue better. They also kind of merged promoters. This is the show that used to be at the track. The other show was better promoted and generally better attended, too.


It is what it is, and we can at least haz a show, so it's better than nothing.

I've skipped many many shows.


This one is a family get-together. For as close as we live, getting my brother to do small things, like answer the phone or get his ass out to see a body is nigh-on impossible. It was spur-of-the-moment.


And my nephew is buying all kinds of steel candy wherever he sees it. He has a fullt-ime job and almost no expenses.


When I was like that, I spend half my money on whiskey and women and wasted the rest . . . .
