I have to pull a toilet today, move a washer, and scrape vinyl tile off concrete. I've been on floors for days now. At least the truck is all sweet-n-clean.

I'm good at toilets unless the flange mounting has rotted away. That means either the wood laminate has been compromised and needs to be replace or I got to get the hammer drill out and then try to get some pipe out and in and I just lack the mad skills.

They make some great replacement flanges any more. I rocked one of those in a couple of weeks ago, with 100% success.

I have a friend who always has a positive balance at the power company. She's done it for years. We think it confuses them.

We do that averages thing to make the month-to-month bills more uniform and predictable.

My work day went pretty well. They just give me all of the hard-as-fuck jobs any more and let the kids do the mundane shit. At this rate, I'll never get to learn A/C stuff.


In other news, a cloudy day forecast turned into mostly a rainy day. I had wet feet for six hours or more. I took three pairs of shoes-n-socks to work with me. Tomorrow: more of the same.
