The rain showed early . . . and all of the other help knocked off early. It was just a h00pa-st00pid kinda day.


Oh, and I stepped in a hole and hurt my bum leg/hip/ass. It tightened up hurtfully as it cooled off. I think I need an extended break if I'm ever going to get over this shit.

Thank Gaia, my flooding was limited to fans and dehumidifiers, although, I am probably not earning green points to heaven for the electricity use...

I really want to do something solar. Maybe to get off electricity, and maybe to heat water to heat the house, or at least to supplement it.


The capital investment seems substantial.


I've got that damn EPA exam, and I'm pushing the limits of how easy they're going to make it by showing up only moderately prepared.

I am ready for the break, even if it's just a small break, and then only two more work days until a five-day break. Ha!!! Well, I do have a small side job to do while I'm off, but that'll be flashback fun-type carpentry, so it won't suck. And the eagle shat from the 2nd job, too.
