It seems that he is, and that perchance he drinks a bit . . .

Junior made an observation when he was being the batboy about where he'd be in 20 years versus where some of these kid/atheletes with the fancy cars and big contracts would be . . . and who would have what percentage of what he had earned by that point. It would be interestin' to see . . . just how right he is.

I was trifling this morning. And I was basking in the Tiger glow.
It was a weird day at work, and yet I managed to stay really calm and collected through it all. It was almost amusing.
And then it was all I could do to behave in the monthly volunteer group business meeting.
Oh well, day is all but done.

Happy Wednesday!!!
Allah, the god of deserts and sand and camel dung, has seen fit to toss a little warm-up our way. My balls are glowing with excitement. Today is 48 and tomorrow is 65.
Too bad the weekend looks to be containing a freezing rain event. I'd really prefer more snow.
And work will continue to be work, and I will continue to be grateful.

My ragwool fingerless gloves came by way of UPS this afternoon. They're perfect.

It's warmer this morning than it was last night when I came in. According to the forecast, it's not going below freezing for the next 10 days, and we'll have 2 or 3 days in the 60s, in addition to today. I can handle that.
We have all the big boss weasels in next week for the monthly draw inspection and to attempt to turn some units over as complete. So we be scrambling for the next few days to get this stuff ready.
And then the next job could be in . . . Timbuktu . . . .

I came across people who call themselves conservatives and liberals both IRL in Australia and here, on the GB.
But my experience of those who call themselves liberals couldn't be any different.
I personally find that the GB liberals share more similarities in mentality with those who call themselves conservatives over here.

And why is the US so divided on so many different lines like religion, politics or so on?
Is it manufactured or a natural progression in a specific society with a specific background?
Because one doesnn't see that level of divisivenness in other former Brittish colonies.
Yet despite this and on a personal level, I can say that those americans that I met IRL were more laid back and mellow than other nationalities.
