Yes I think you have to be crazy to do the NaNoWrMo contest. You should try it Freddie. With the amount of writing you do you would surely write 50000 words in a short period of time. Just go to the website and sign up. You just have to put in your word count and when you hit 50000 words you win. Because it's based on honestly on the part of the author no one can cheat really. You made some valid points about the contests on here so I was surprised to learn that you have never participated in NaNoWrMo.

They have computers here so I can still write and access this site. My room is nice, white and clean. I like it.

Below are the vote results from Florida. To those of you who back “gay marriage” it would be a grave mistake on your part to continue to simply point fingers and denigrate your opponents (especially our religious institutions).

Extraordinary gains have been made by the homosexual community in our country over the last twenty-five years. Attacking the Mormon Church or the Catholic Church or the Religious Right won’t further your cause. In fact you’ll simply lose many people who have some sympathy for your position.

Instead it’ll only be a continuing rational dialogue with the majority that will eventually lead you to attain your goal.

The story was great and enjoyable but for the fag end, it could have been altered to a little tragic. anyway its 3 stars from me

First off, he thought the story “was great and enjoyable” which sounds pretty good. Who wouldn’t appreciate a comment like that?

Then he offers a suggestion – he found my ending a bit wimpy. I know many of my confreres can get pretty upset receiving suggestions about their work - I’ve read enough of those, “what does that asshole know” or “I’m the fucking author” comments in this forum. But I’ve always liked receiving this kind of uncensored comment.

And the THREE (3)? Well I know many of you would label this person a troll or a basher and demand that the QUEEN sweep away his vote. But reading his comment I’m pretty sure that he or she thought 3 stars was pretty good. And I was happy to receive it! He or she is one of the over twenty-six hundred (2600+) readers who’ve taken the time to vote for this story. And I’ve appreciated every one.
