The Russians are coming, the Russians are coming Pt. 2

The party that lived by the meme died by the meme. I was fairly new to Facebook when Obama's reelection campaign swung around. A friend's wife was posting all these "Romney's going to outlaw birth control!" memes with these pleas of, "People! Do your research!!"

Neither his campaign nor the Republican party was advocating any such thing. That Georgetown birth control thing was a stunt to get at Romney's fundamental religious roots, without coming across as bigotted anti-mormon.

Problem is, that although both Catholics and Mormons tend to have large families, Mormons are not forbidden from using birth control.

So this election they want to complain about fake news when retarded memes influence things the other way.
Much like the meme that Clinton wanted to bring in 650,000 refugees and spend $400 billion supporting them.

He did seem to lack understanding that politics has never been a gentleman's sport. He was the Duckie of politics. John Hughes throwing a random, hot girl at Duckie at the end of the movie was just stupid.

Well, I agree, but the pop-culture reference went right over my head.

I spent too much of my life "doing" things...

Maybe not 'too' much.

:D ;) ;)

It's the left's idea that if the government isn't paying for it and delivering it to your door with a reminder every day?

Then it's a ban. Because getting a job is hard.

Just like not wanting to pay for an RN on standby in every delivery room with a bolt gun for a last second abortion (umbilical is still attached!!) then it's a war on women's rights.

I liked Romney and thought he would have been a good President.

I should have voted for him instead of Mr. Hope and LOLGOTCHABITCH!!!

Much like the meme that Clinton wanted to bring in 650,000 refugees and spend $400 billion supporting them.

Well.....how many did she and the (D)'s want to bring in? How much would it cost?

the only number she ever mentioned was 65,000.

Experts on migration expect the total cost, from settlement/support costs to taxes paid and other monetary pluses, to make it a net gain for the economy. Primarily because refugees tend to perform better in the US job market than non refugee immigrants.

LOL....we got how many millions out of work? Including graduates, veterans and skilled laborers sitting around with their thumbs up their ass.

But a bunch of diseased, illiterate, no skills, anti-American Syrians will be a net gain for the economy.

I'd have to see them paying income taxes, from non government or government funded jobs, to buy that bullshit.

We can bring them in to do the jobs that Mexicans will not do....

I mean seriously, who wants to pay for labor?

That's beneath US!

So Assange swears in an interview (ongoing) that neither Russia nor any other state player were the source for the emails wikileaks made public.

OK, that does NOT say that Russia wasn't the original source, but what it does say that should Julian be telling the truth (and I'm having trouble coming up with a motive for him to be lying) that there is a third party player out there somewhere.

Ishmael

I never voted for Julian Assange. He has never been vetted. But I'm comforted to know that he swore to it.

I'm sure Julian was completely honest about those sexual assaults, too.

It's just my gut feeling, you know. I'm having trouble coming up with a motive for him to be lying.

Well, you should be having trouble. He's been an equal opportunity 'leaker.' Not to difficult to understand that multiple governments would like to shut him up, any way they can.

The original charges WERE investigated and dropped. And ex post facto enters a 'special prosecutor.' A 'special prosecutor' with no new evidence, just sorta special. Given what Assange does and how he does it do you think he might have cause to be just a little paranoid over the possibility of a political prosecution? Sorta like your politically motivated assertion that he's guilty?

Ishmael

Assange was labeled a traitor by the same Alt-Right that is now putting their eggs in his basket of deplorable acts.

I can see how Drumpf became your savior- neither of you has the stones to stand-up for your own actions and your follow-through is worse.

He's nothing but fair. He hacked the DNC and released damaging information. He hacked they RNC and found nothing but honorable intentions.

If Hillary had won, I'm sure lots of American conservatives would now be moving to Russia.

Well, moron, he's managed to piss every political elite off, no matter what their party affiliation is, or the nation they happen to be plying their trade in.

From an observational standpoint I find it interesting that no one whose emails were disclosed have denied that that's exactly what they wrote. And even more interesting is the fact that that are so many Hillary supporters that seem to be more pissed off that Hillary lost, and blame it on the emails, than the fact that their parties elite think of them as cattle to be led to the slaughter. It is truly beyond astounding.

You would think that the reaction to Romney's "47%" comment back in 2012 would have given them a clue. Obviously it didn't.

Ishmael

Some one did. And if you had read back you'd know my opinion of that as wall. But you didn't, so you're being redundant, and stupid.

Ishmael

Ish, I think that you're a jackass but you make me laugh.

All government intelligence agencies said that the Russian government hacked the DNC computer and released the information in an effort to affect the election. If they hacked the DNC then they surely hacked the RNC but no damaging information was released. The only conclusion that anyone could come to is that the Russian hacking was for the purpose of having Trump elected president. As a patriotic American you should be asking yourself why Putin wants Trump to be the president.

And pray tell, what is the evidence? "Trust me, I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

And you still haven't read back at all, have you? I have consistently said that I have no doubt that the Russians hacked those accounts. That's what their intelligence people are paid to do. Just as ours are paid to do the same.

What you, and the rest of the morons, just can't seem to get through your heads is there is no direct line from the Russians to Assange. How is it that the Russians can't cover their tracks, but Assange can? Hmmmmm?

Why is it that you can't get it through your fucking thick skull that I neither believe nor disbelieve the Russians are the ultimate source? You, and the rest of the liberal and conservative dogmatists, pick and choose what the government tells you. Yay!!!!!! Score one for my team. NONE of them are working in your best interest.

Ishmael

Are you asking me for evidence of Russian hacking? You know I don’t have that. Intelligence is going to brief Congress this week but even then, they won’t get information that could endanger lives. I think you understand the limits of what intelligence can share.

As far as what I believe and who I believe, I try to get my information with different points of view (one of the reasons I come here)added to the things I know and apply my critical thinking skills to determine what is truth.

What scientific method do you use?

No idiot, I KNOW the Russians hacked those accounts. Apparently you can't read worth a shit.

Ishmael

Do you have anything new to add to the discussion? Some point I haven't already covered? Or are you just here to reinforce some talking point?

Ishmael

You seem to be so knowledgeable and opinionated on the subject I just wanted to know why the Russians only hacked the Democrats and if it bothers you as an American that they did?
