THE Rh FACTOR STRIKES AGAIN

You fooled me, JBJ, with the RH factor...at least in the title.

The 'alleged' murderer, is a life long Muslim.

'Factor' that into your speculations as to 'why' this heinous crime was committed on American soil.

But be sure not to use the word 'terrorist', it is not PC.

Now instead of going to Iraq...he's going to Levenworth...and hopefully he'll get a necktie party or the needle. Local cops took him out, but where were the MP's?

Actually, a lot of shrinks go off the rails...not to this extent of course. In college we used to joke that 90% of the people that took Psych 101 were trying to figure themselves out.

I'm in the other 10% then, since I already figured myself out. ;)

I can confirm your second paragraph, TE, as I went step by step to a Master's Degree in Psych, with my daughter.

I suggest it is closely connected to a curious mind, when people 'do' want to know what makes them tick. Psychology is about the worst place in the world to go for that as it is a mass of contradictions and the root of true mental confusion.

When you teach an intelligent young person, over and over again, that there is no right and no wrong, that everything is relative and that one must accept all points of view as valid...that is a sure recipe to bake a really crazy cake.

That is the state and nature of modern psychology; the solution they offer to every problem is drug related, a pill for every contradiction.

Sad.

I think the military uses a firing squad. I'm not at all sure about that. Whatever they use, they rarely do it, but this might be one of those times. It should be, IMHO.

I can help with that . . . :D

Is next Tuesday good for you? ;)

I agree...now that Freud is persona non grata in Psych Land, I don't know whose theories are in vogue. It was easier when you could blame Mom and sex for being a head case. :D

I think the last firing squad execution in the Army was in WWII...a private named Slovik was 'dobie walled for desertion. It turns out he was railroaded as an 'example' to others who might consider going over the hill. :(

Most psychologists are clinical-psychologists or industrial psychologists; the screwy ones are the counseling psychologists. Clinical-psychologists do IQ testing and court-ordered assessments; industrial psychologists design cars and computers and tv-remote controls.

The local paper is spinning the story as 'friendly fire' by military police; the paper sez that military police shot everyone in their efforts to capture Husan. I knew it wasnt his fault!

That's not what the story said. It said some of the wounded may have been from friendly fire. Why do you keep acting like an idiot.

I heard from my nephew and his family. Everyone is fine.

That's awesome Tx. I was sad to hear what happened. Bad enough for all those families that they worry about what will happen to their loved ones overseas. To have it happen while they're still at home...

I read that the shooter was killed. Where'd you people read that he lived?

Gee, I dunno...do you think it could possibly be that the fucked-up guy that did it is an American Citizen?

Jesus fucking christ.

Yeah, it's a good thing gratuitously harassing an unstable man for being a Muslim had nothing to do with it.

CLOUDY'S "American Citizen" friend commited treason during war time, which happens to be covered in the Constitution. He screamed ALLAH AKBAR before shooting all the unarmed victims, so he's doubly appealing to Usual Suspects like Chief CLOUDY.

I imagine his lawyers will drag the case out indefinitely, but Obama would be wise to shoot him by firing squad before the next election.

Lame comeback, James. What's the matter? No coffee this morning? Hungover? Very lame attempt at harrassment. You can do so much better.

oh, and did you notice I said "the fucked-up guy who did it"? But whether he's fucked up or not, he was born right here in the good ol U.S., so yep....that makes him a citizen.

It's in the original ABC article JBJ attached in post #1.

Havent you heard? Everybody's a citizen these days. Just get here and we'll do the rest.

Oh! Tokyo Rose was an American citizen, too.
