~ Hehehe! His work schedule has been just short of ridiculously hectic since He's been home. Add to that the work computer likes to malfunction at the worst of times, and having to share a computer at the apartment... all of this does NOT make for ease in access. *pouts and sighs* But I'm hopin' He'll be able to stop by soon, or when time permits.

~ My love of horses is indeed a deep one. Been plumb horse crazy since I was but a wee tot of 3... and havin' my own and then working at a stable didn't do a thing to dull it.

~ And I saw that! Dang fool woman! *laughs gleefully* She's just gonna have to be extra careful NOT to fall off that mule she calls a horse. And yes... she sure does get excited! ;)

I sure get excited seeing you -- I have missed you tons and tons

Edit to add::: I am moving a little closer to you soon---- i will be in Georgia :nana:

I see we've had a busy evening around here... sorry we weren't around but... we wish we had been... it would have been a much better evening spent...

We spent approximately 6 hours in the ER... due to RC was having some shoulder, neck & back pain....forunately... after an ekg... no worries wasn't his heart... He does have chronic back pain. Doctor gave him a shot of Truadall & dauladen {forgive the spelling ~ } then sent us home with a muscle relaxer and percacet {spelling ~ once again :rolleye:}

we just got home about 15 mins ago... I've not had much sleep myself due to one of our dogs has had a bout with diarrhea ~ was worried that I'd be losing her this am after a visit to the vet... but he placed her on a deworming for 3 days and then antiboitics... which they forgot to give me in the rushing us out the door... so mom is picking them up on her way home this morning from an overnight visit with her sissy {was for her sissy's birthday}.... So hopefully Kaci is on the mend... the fecal sample will come back in a couple days...

Other than those 2 driving me nuts.... everyone else is doing good and fine...plan on going with Mom in a bit to the store... to pay off the rest of the cake and flowers off.... we ended up not getting the cake topper we so wanted.... but found a statue that we both adore.... I'll be posting a pic of it later.... and of course once the big day arrives there will be tons of pics to share.... :cathappy:

~ Sounds like a 'fun' evening... can we say "NOT"? But I do agree... You'd have had a whale of a lot more fun being here. So sorry to hear about RC's back acting up - but I'm equally as glad that he wasn't at work and running the risk of having it 'go out' on him there.

~ So glad to hear that Mighty Mutt :D is faring better than you had originally thought.

~ Eagerly watching the mail so I can - *crossing fingers* - make plans to attend. I don't think my "bayou beau" is going to be able to get the time... even for the weekend (dammit!), considering that he was just here on a much needed - where nothing was planned - vacation, not too long ago.

*Just an FYI - re: Dilaudid (Dilaudin)
Opioid analgesics suppress one's perception of pain and calm the emotional response to pain by reducing the number of pain signals sent by the nervous system and the brain's reaction to them.

Why It Is Used
Opioids are used to reduce moderate to severe chronic pain.

How Well It Works
Opioids (Opiate) are effective in relieving moderate to severe chronic pain, and are available in pill, shot, skin patch and suppository form.

If one opioid does not reduce your pain, your doctor may prescribe a different opioid to treat your chronic pain.

There is a low risk of addiction if you take opioids routinely as prescribed. Your risk of addiction is slightly greater if you have a history of substance abuse or a family history of addiction.

Side Effects
Opioids may often cause side effects such as:

Constipation.
Drowsiness.
Dizziness.
Weakness.
Dry mouth.
Sedation.
Confusion.
Difficulty urinating.
More serious side effects can include allergic reaction, such as swelling of the throat, a drop in blood pressure, seizures, tremors, or hallucinations.*

~ Hugs and love sent to all there... and look forward to seeing you around the ranch soon. :rose:

K i have had all of that that they gave him in the ER -- the Dauladid knocks me on my butt for at least a day -- see if you can get him into a Back specialist-- Ex was have what sounds about the same and it was a compressed fracture in his neck -- has a cervical fucsion and no pain since

Just an idea to try and help some of the pain go away :rose:

thx {{{{{Rozie}}}}}} :rose: :rose:

when he lived down south he saw an ortho specialist - who told him he had a bulging disc and then he also saw a chiropractor - who told he had scoliosis... the doc in the er last night gave us a list of clinics to try to get him into... his pain radiates from his lower back and down into either hip.... and back pain & surgery runs in his family.... he's the only one so far that hasn't had surgery yet.
