~ I just wanted to let you know that it arrived in today's mail! And I will confirm with you as soon as I have checked out the best way to get there.


~ Other than that... I just spent $225 at the Vet Clinic. I fed Enforcer one of the packets of food that I didn't think was on the list... until tonight's World News broadcast caught my eye and I checked the abcnews.com website. I was at the clinic for just short of 2 hours.

His kidneys seem to be ok... but in some instances, problems are still occuring up to 10 days AFTER ingestion of the tainted food.... and also according to tonight's news cast... they are now saying that it's not just the Wheat Gluten (from China).. they are finding Melmaline (used in Plastic plates and food containers) in some of the tainted foods.

The ER vet did find an elevated white blood cell count and the starts of a problem with his pancreas.... which is being monitored for the next 24 hours.

Howdy all, Spent the last few days working on rolling stock and clearing the dead stuff from the north fence. It's spring- if it's mechanical it's broke, if it grew last year, it's dead and in the way this year, and it all has to be done NOW!

RC, hope you're doing a bit better after a few days of enforced R&R.

Victoria, I can only hope that Enforcer is doing better...poor critter...

Onward...gotta clean out the forge and build a power hammer

RC is doing better... started a new job tonight and works from 5pm to 1:30am... kinda sucks a bit but the pays decent

He's doing much better ~ like I told MT... he started a new job tonight and does get benefits thru the temp agency right now.... but cost a butt load... once he get permanent full-time he won't have to pay for benefits... the company pays them

yep... I completely understand that... I had to pay for cobra for awhile after I was laid off from one job... and they "really" stick it to ya....

oh no...sorry to hear about that MT... but just a month ago ~ before the benefit...ain't that always the way of it...~ RC ended up having a wisdom tooth pulled... not fun at all....
