alright. this is a dumb rhetorical query/statement/ramble.
Mom and Dad get into a fight. four year old Junior watches. A gunshot is heard. Dad is dead.
Later, in the court, they ask Junior to speak.
"Did your mother shoot your daddy?"
"No."
"Then who did?"
"I did." said totally innocently, like he doesn't know what he's done.
THIS is an albeit sad, but excuseable crime. but once you're old enough to know better, you ought to know not to shoot people. i'm sorry, anyone over the age of pretty much six knows fighting is niether alloweed nor the answer, much less killing somone. it's just wrong. and then they have the gall to debate whether a seventeen year old who contemplated murder should be tried as an adult.
