Thirty years ago, "Do you play basketball?"

Twenty years ago, "Do you play basketball?"

Ten years ago, "I bet you played basketball when you were younger."

A year ago, store clerk said, "Do you want me to help you with that?"

I know what you are thinking, but it was a heavy microwave oven on the top shelf at Lowe's.

Anyway, I declined. Turns out that I should have accepted her offer.

I almost dropped it, but luckily, it landed in the cart.

I'm not as strong as I used to be and have never played basketball.
